My wife is from Ireland, so we wanted to check this out to watch the Women's World Cup. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere was great and so was the food. The Irish owner has done a great job of creating an authentic Irish pub in the heart of Merida. A special thanks to the waiters: as soon as we... More

The place overall was "blah". The food is not that good, poor quality and expensive for what they serve. Won't go there again.

Who would ever guess you would find an Authentic Irish Pub small dab on the Pass! Shepherds Pie, bangers, and Guinness all while listening to 80s rock. Great food burgers (big) Alfredo truffle oil dish was super. Staff works hard. It will take an hour to eat here. But you will like it. The cost was higher than most other... More

Stopped to try this location and found it to be top notch in service as well as menu selection. Only disappointment was there was no Guiness on tap in order to have a proper pint. Only available in cans which I had assumed would be unlawful. The Owner/Manager Sean informed me that it is not available in the barrel in... More

If you visit Merida make this one of your stops for a meal. Great atmosphere, menu and staff, in a great location with excellent food and music at night. Say hello to the owner Sean, very nice person who knows his business and will take the time to insure you are satisfied. Can't say enough good things about the Pub

Hennessey’s is not the place to go when looking for traditional Mexico/Yucatan cuisine. It’s where you go to get away from the touristy part of el Centro and mingle among the extended local expat community. It’s a delightful walk on an amazing boulevard from both the busy zocolo and the more northern hotel district. The menu is a mix of... More

Like all Irish Pubs, this place is a great place to meet friends and relax while enjoying good food and drink. This is our fourth year traveling to Merida and last year, our experience with Hennessy's fish and chips left a lot to be desired. The fish tasted old. I had read they were now able to get the correct... More

We were hoping for more beers on tap, but the beer was cold, the food very good, and the AC was fully functional. This is a very pretty bar and restaurant, and we had very good service.

Hennessy's is THE place to go in Merida. .. A place to, eat wonderful food, drink and meet up with old and new friends from all over the world! The owners are inviting and interested in their clients. There is music on the weekends - with fabulous bands.. If you are in Merida, you must go to Hennessy's
