Unpretentious fabulous food!!

Unpretentious fabulous food... I have to admit that I am stuck on two dishes, which I come back for every time. The Garlic Prawns accompanied by a Beetroot and goats cheese salad have me raving every time. If you are looking for delicious prawns go nowhere else. You are served 18 prawns (yes I... read more

English/Spanish menu. Greta fish and chips, batter not fatty like a lot. Chicken curry spicy hot, don't get unless you like hot, hot. Beef and Guinness pie also good but not so the spaghetti bog. Nice atmosphere. Recommend

I am English/Irish living in USA so went to Hennessy`s with my wife (Irish born in London) and we had high hopes based on reviews. Piped music was awful selection. Burger was almost raw and livery with zero seasoning/flavor. Fish and chips ... fish was tasteless so was batter plus too much batter. Chips tasted like frozen chips but tasted... More

This past week I went to hear a great band (The Fabulous Yucatones) and then to "Move Night" the next evening. The thing that impressed me the most was the amazing wait staff. Even with large crowds (dancing) or in a room that was virtually pitch black (the movie) they tirelessly took care of every person, every detail, every request.... More

Return visit since February of last year, went to Henessey's more on this trip. Sean Hennessey is very welcoming to his patrons. The staff is very professional and extremely friendly. The food I've seen no change to the quality and serving size, the food is excellent. If you make only one visit, you need to give them a try....you will... More

Had to make a stop at Hennessy's for a few drinks during our stay in Merida. It has a cool atmosphere, service was good (we sat at the bar) and the place had a cool vibe. Most of the patrons were gringos (incl. expatriates ... probably), and it was a fun diversion. Lots of screens to see games and a... More

We went for dinner. The pub is actuallly bigger than I expected. Service and the food were good and the prices were reasonable (you can see their menu online). We had a couple of beers and one of us had the fish and chips and the other a burger. It was raining during the time we were there but they... More
