We had dinner at the patio, which has a beautiful decoration, trees, plans and a pink wall. Dinner was delicious, it is kind of international and yucatan upscale food. Staff was excellent, Noe, our waiter and sommelier, was so helpful! he even called the pharmacy to get us delivered a medicine. Wine suggestion was excellent too. We were extremely happy... More

Uncommon breakfasts in a pleasant and colorful atrium served by friendly and attentive staff. The inside spaces looked very nice as well and there is a rooftop bar area where they do jazz. Would have loved the opportunity to check it out for dinner.

The food is Yucatecan Fusion and it was a wonderful surprise. The Crisp Octopus for appetizer was the biggest surprise of the night. It was the most tender and yet "crisp" octopus we've ever eaten. The medley of flavors and octopus just seem to melt away in your mouth leaving just a hint of jalapeno burn, ever so slight. The... More

Rosas has a nice rooftop seating area/bar where you can relax and listen to some fair sounding Jazz on most nights. Unfortunately, on the night we were there the band and the restaurant across the street was playing so load they completely drowned out one entertainment, which was only 10 feet away from us. Drinks and food were OK although... More

I was taken for lunch by a business associate. We entered through the hotel lobby and then passed through the beautiful waterlily ponded dining area(exposed to the open air) from there we stepped into the air conditioned dining room. We decided to have a variety of appetizers to share to be able to taste a variety of things. They appeared... More

We were the only ones here for the first hour of our 2pm lunch. Formal but relaxed dining room, very nice staff. Lovely and unusual aguas, like kiwi and hoja santa, refresh the hot and tired. Panuchos made with shredded duck highly recommended- they are served with a mildly spicy habanero marmalade. Carpaccio lovely and served with plenty of greens.... More

We ate here three times in four nights in Merida – it was that good! It's located very close to the southern end of Paseo Montejo, where it intersects with Calle 41 - the TA map is wrong, so if you want to find it, it's near where Trattoria la Pasta is on the TA map. This means it's a... More

This was our grand splurge during our Merida trip, and absolutely worth it. We chose to dine on the rooftop patio, able to enjoy the music down in the courtyard and without interrupting conversation. Had space for 2 or 3 couples to dance, and a comfortable bar area with smaller tables. Food was simply stellar - flaky, moist fish entrees,... More

We ate at Rosas last Friday night after spotting it earlier in the day. We had a drink in the rooftop bar and then dinner in the main restaurant, we would have chosen the outside area but the music was a bit loud for our tastes. Excellent modern Mexican cuisine and a good if somewhat expensive wine list. The proprietor... More

I eat in most of the innovative and really good restaurants in New York City and I would certainly include this restaurant amongst them. While the prices may be a bit high for Merida they seemed quite reasonable to me. Most importantly, the food was terrific and interesting. The service was attentive and the owner was obsevant to assure everyone's... More
