In a word... Perfection

Outstanding meal, wine selection, staff/service. Simply has to be one of the best restaurant options in the Merida area. The menu is fine by itself however we had no problems making small changes to meals (a member of our party requested her rice be replaced with potatoes, was not an issue.) I had... read more

My husband and I made a reservation at Casa de Piedra during a recent visit to Merida. The Hacienda and restaurant are about 30 minutes north of Merida in a small village. We were seated on the terrace which overlooks the grounds of the hotel. The details of the fans to keep us cool and the candles surrounding the terrace... More

Decided to go to lunch at Hacienda Xcanatun, as we had been there for breakfast before. The location is very nice and the staff very attentive. We ordered to different meals that shared something in common SALT!!! My meal was heavy with salt. Normally Arrechera is not a salty meat. But it was there as was the salad. Even the... More

We hosted brunch for our family at Casa de Piedra in March. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The service was also good but not the best that we've experienced in Merida. The grounds of the hotel are a very nice setting, although you're not allowed to wander if you're not a hotel guest. The building is beautiful... More

An excellent option for a great Yucatan fusion food! The place is wonderful and the service is very good. The fusion and teaste of their plates deserves the distance where the Hacienda is.

This restaurant is located in a beautiful hacienda with gorgeous grounds. You can eat outside on the patio or in the beautiful dining room. Service was definitely first rate. We each had a martini, perfectly made, unusual in some foreign countries. Our starters were the chicken pibil famous in the Yucatan in lovely peppers with fresh homemade tortillas and an... More

Having eaten several times at Hacienda Teya we wanted to experience eating at another Hacienda without traveling miles. We saw the ads and pictures of this lovely hotel/restaurant relatively close to the city. We chose to eat early for several reasons . One being we wanted to see this lovely establishment and two, we had no idea how to get... More

My mother and I came here for dinner one night while in Merida in Dec. 2014. We found the food to be very good, and the wine selection was excellent for what we'd found in the Yucatan. While we enjoyed everything, I would be inclined to come here again for the beautiful setting (gorgeous patio and gardens) as much as... More

Come here. Let the place unfold around you as you cruise up the long drive. Relax outside, under the canopy beneath the stars. Allow the music to soothe and lull you. Be swept away by luscious cocktails and delicious food. Someday, I want to stay here. It feels amazing and I can imagine a few days and nights under the... More
