Great at night- climb to the very top and there is a table that overlooks the city. ask for the 2 appetizers (Guacamole and something mayan with pumpkin seed) that are prepared table side and it's you will have a unforgettable experience!

Located in the heart of Centro, this restaurant an incredible patio. The drinks were good, the service was great, but unfortunately the food was mediocre. I'd recommend going here for the drinks and soak in the charm, especially during the daily happy hour.

We enjoyed our evening at Pancho's, despite a rain that kept us from eating in the attractive outdoor patio. They have a good selection of Mexican dishes, though a bit on the high side price wise for us. Waiters were interested in making sure we had fun - sticking sombreros on heads for pictures. I understand there is sometimes live... More

Ponchos reminds me of a basic food chain restaurant back home in Australia. Somewhere quick to go when you just want a quick bite and no surprises. A good choice if you are catching up with friends who maybe don't tolerate spicy food or you have young children who like chips and tomato sauce. Turned out to be one of... More

Two for one drinks with very good pours. Excellent botanas and delicious (and ample) guacamole. The bartenders are personable and more than competent. The popcorn is always crisp and the food, if you choose, is very good. This is a regular stop in Merida for many of us who live in Merida on Friday evenings. If you find yourself unhappy... More

This is the typical overpriced tourist spot we try to avoid on our travels. The margaritas were watery and the food was just so-so--edible but unremarkable. The atmosphere is fun though, with large trees and a bar area in the outdoor garden. We felt like it was a Mexican version of TGI Friday's--not terrible, but not really original or notable... More

We tried finding other restaurants of equivalent calibre but kept returning here. Food is good, service is friendly, there are fans to cool you down.

There are many restaurants in Merida to choose from, many of while serve up great food at a very reasonable price. Pancho's is not quite in this category, being more expensive than the average eating place, although still pretty good by US standards (a family of four cost atou US$110, including a bottle of wine). The food was really good.... More

This restaurant was recommended by a member of our hotel management and as his recommendations have been excellent 'til now reserved a table. To start with the table we were shown to had not been cleaned properly from the previous clients or set up again although there were plenty of tables that had been. The starters of lime soup and...
