Our family enjoyed everything about Merida and Pancho's was a fun, entertaining place to have dinner walking distance from our Hotel. The service was friendly, the price was what I would call moderate, the selection good but mainly it seems like the workers want to make sure you are having fun. Maybe was just the nights we were there but... More

I have enjoyed all of Paul's restaurants and finally had a chance to visit Panchos. If not for the awesome garden and great photos and paintings to keep me occupied I'd have left. The service was horrible. The attitudes were worse, almost as if they were doing me a favor. It's beyond me as to why because the food was... More

Was just finishing my coffee when the waiter returned to my table and explained that I had not left enough money. I was sure I had placed at least 10% more than the bill for adequate (not good) service but was quickly schooled of my short-comings and was told to increase my tip by at least 50 more pesos. To... Lovely atmosphere, staff and cocktails. However it is a little overpriced, and service was a tiny bit slow. Returned many times while I stayed in Mexico, and my favourite cocktail was the Pancho Villa. Would love to return one day!

Went for dinner and it was a great night. The staff quickly made up a table for our group of twelve and were very attentive. One wierd thing with the happy hour that goes from 6-9pm was they wouldn't give us those prices at our table but were happy to seat us near the bar in a small courtyard. We... More

Great at night- climb to the very top and there is a table that overlooks the city. ask for the 2 appetizers (Guacamole and something mayan with pumpkin seed) that are prepared table side and it's you will have a unforgettable experience!

Located in the heart of Centro, this restaurant an incredible patio. The drinks were good, the service was great, but unfortunately the food was mediocre. I'd recommend going here for the drinks and soak in the charm, especially during the daily happy hour.

We enjoyed our evening at Pancho's, despite a rain that kept us from eating in the attractive outdoor patio. They have a good selection of Mexican dishes, though a bit on the high side price wise for us. Waiters were interested in making sure we had fun - sticking sombreros on heads for pictures. I understand there is sometimes live... More

Ponchos reminds me of a basic food chain restaurant back home in Australia. Somewhere quick to go when you just want a quick bite and no surprises. A good choice if you are catching up with friends who maybe don't tolerate spicy food or you have young children who like chips and tomato sauce. Turned out to be one of... More

Two for one drinks with very good pours. Excellent botanas and delicious (and ample) guacamole. The bartenders are personable and more than competent. The popcorn is always crisp and the food, if you choose, is very good. This is a regular stop in Merida for many of us who live in Merida on Friday evenings. If you find yourself unhappy... More
