We stayed at this restaurant closest hotel, and had our breakfast inkluded at Buho`s. Nice view, sand all over the floor, no need for shoes, lots of tables and chairs. Breakfast was ok, but EXTREMELY slow! the staff were never smiling, acted surprised every time we tried to ask for anything, did not understand (or did not WANT TO understand).... More

We were attracted to this beach front café mostly due to the awesome location and quirky lounging furniture. It just looked so perfect. However the service was terrible. The 'fruit milk shakes' were made with some horrid pink gloop and when I asked for a lime for the beer I was pointed in the direction of a little pot of... More

Buhos also own as Blow Hole's defies physics by sucking and blowing at the same time! Surly staff, lousy food. Nice view from restaurant / palapa though.

Its location is perfect--beautiful beach and sand. They even bring your drinks right to your rented palapa--but that's CASH only. The bar/restaurant has very interesting decor. Swings at the bar area, simplistic design in its open-air restaurant area--even the floor is filled with beach sands, so no shoes, no problem! Food is nothing to write home about, if you needed... The swings were the only reason we stopped here, otherwise it was just what it was, a beach bar with overpriced beer. We were there during off season so maybe it's a more entertaining venue during the winter, but it was dead. Can't beat the location though.

Pair a fantastic Palapa bar with rope swing seating, and the most beautiful beach on the island, and you would think this place would have the best rating on Trip Advisor.....but, sadly, this is not the case. Slow service, as in barely moving... bad drinks, and lousy food. But the view is amazing!!!! Go back every time just for that.... More

This place used to a wonderful little beachfront cafe and bar, especially when we used to stay at Cabanas Del Mar and sail over from St. Pete.. Now it is big, the staff snarky, limited availability of premium liquors in the bar, and food that tastes like it came out of the freezer.....certainly not fresh! Even the guacamole tasted store... If you're not in a rush, then you'll be okay. We found breakfast service to be very slow but enjoyed the surroundings under the palapa and on the beach. The only meal we've had there (other than breakfast) was for the awards banquet where dignitaries were in evidence thus the service improved immensely.

The location of this bar/restaurant is ideal, situated on Playa Norte. The food is excellent, and the swings at the bar give it that island feel. However, service is very slow, as it took us 15 minutes to get two bottles of beer, and the bartender was not very friendly. One of the servers also tried to add on a... More

This spot is located on Playa Norte, and has very fun swing seats at the bar as well as a chandelier under the palapa - not something you see every day!! The setting is gorgeous, on spectacular Playa Norte, but I found the food to be just average, and the service kinda spotty. Once you had the attention of a... More
