We loved the new location. And the food and service were terrific. We each had different meals and they were all great. My favorite are the Paninis. You will walk away satisfied and you wont need lunch!

We stopped in at the new Barlito location and unfortunately it was not the same. We missed the old menu and all the sandwich options. We didn't see any bagels on the menu this time and we really liked them on our last trip. Hopefully they will consider adding some of the old options again in the future.

Thanks for visiting Barlito Marina Paraiso. We are not the same restaurant as the bakery & market cafe downtown. It was never our intention to be. When we were on Hidalgo we were an eclectic, fast paced, hectic centro cafe with street traffic. It was fun & everything we wanted at the time. After 3 plus years, we were so... More

Tried the wings at Roosters and they where teeny tiny with bad sauce. These wings are substantial and are smoked to perfection with a spicey sauce that is so good. The best on the island. My husband had the panko fried grouper with fries. Good sangria too. Service is excellent. Out in the construction zone so you will have finaggle... More

Finagle your way is a nice way to say it! The construction detours have been lengthy, bumpy, winding, inconvenient, dusty & just a big pain. WIth all that being said when they are all done we will have a sewer running from Comejen all the way to the Secondaria school & a nicely paved road from the car ferry to... More

Thanks so much for coming to our new location & taking the time to write a review about it. We know the construction has been a big inconvenience. We are getting close to it being finished & our staff is really anxious for the completion. We love being at Marina Paraiso. With our outside dining on the deck under the... More

Started our second morning on the island bright and early and arrived at 8:00 am with this well reviewed restaurant. Since the bagels seemed to be their claimed to fame, I ordered one and convinced my husband to try his first ever sesame bagel.(not a bagel eater normally) I had read about the owner being from NY and that these... Reading your review makes me sad. We have always prided ourselves on our homemade baked goods especially our bagels. We bake batches so that we always have fresh as well as day old (much better for toasting). Our policy is to put the afternoon batch in the freezer to preserve their freshness for the next morning toasting. We use no... More

I have been to Barlito's when their location was downtown and I frequent it in its new location at Marina Paraiso. Apart from the food, the best thing about this place is that it's so versatile. I take my 3 year old son here to play at club Isleños on the weekends with all of the other children including the... More

It is always fun when our friends/clients come from so very far away to visit us at Barlito! We loved helping you celebrate Danny's birthday at the annual December TA get together. Putting names to screen names is always a good time. Your three weeks went way too fast. Thanks so much for taking the time to post a review.... More

We had dinner and drinks here one night during our stay on isla and I have to say the new location is just wonderful. We were there after dark so I didn't get the full experience but the grounds were lovely. We sat at the bar by the water and there was a really good crowd there. We met some... More

Thanks so much for coming out to our new location at Marina Paraiso! We love finally having a full service bar & tv's at Barlito! Since you were here, we have doubled the size of the bar so that we can have two bartenders behind the bar. We also made a bigger deck area closer to the water. We are... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to post a review for us! We love that you dream about our bagels! Having grown up in NY I was spoiled with a bagelry around the corner from my house & bus stop. I am sorry to say - Not the same as it was when it was down on Hidalgo! We have visited Barlitos for the last 3 years and this year we walked away disppointed in the food. We are so sorry to read your review. We know change can be difficult. We however love our opportunity with our restaurant, marina, hotel & dive shop at Marina Paraiso Hotel.
