We had both the pizza (prosciutto and mushroom) and lasagna bolognese here several times, and they were always delicious. Don't let its look deter you - we ate at several Italian places on Isla and this one was by far the best. The margaritas and crepes are also awesome. It's also one of the better values on Hidalgo.

We have been dining at Caffe Italia on every trip to Isla. It is always great. The owner is a sweet heart! The food is delicious and inexpensive. We love the crepes, pastas, and the lasagne - oh my! They also have excellent coffee!

We liked it so much, we spent 8 days on the island and ate there 4 times. The owner is very sweet and the pizza is among the best you will ever taste.

Really good menu, pizza, pasta and crepes mainly. Me and my husband shared the smaller size pizza which was actually huge! Drinks were ice cold and bill came in under 180pesos, glad we have time enough to go back for crepes!

I probably would not have even tried this place had it not been for the reviews in TA. What a find ! The place looks like a hot dog shed. Bright colors and plastic chairs. Food is some of the best Italian anywhere. Service is excellent. Prices are more than reasonable.

We went here following a recommendation of our hotel manager. The pizza is brilliant, nice and crispy thin base with just the right amount of topping. We had the mexican pizza which was nice and spicy. We didn't think a small would be enough for two of us so went for the large. It was massive and needed one of... More

Like most Isla visitors, we choose our evening dining spot by (1) checking Trip Advisor ratings and (2) wandering down Hidalgo, peering at all the delicious food being served in patio restaurants along the way. Usually, we end up stopping somewhere in the first block or two and don't make it down as far as Caffe Italia. But we had... More

Don't let this little gem pass you by on your next trip to Isla. Huge, fresh and wonderful salad for starter. Then, lasagna. Really great food - extremely reasonably priced.I really only intended to order the salad which was certainly large enough to share with my hubby. We got lasagna as well. REALLY great. Plan on arriving hungry and leaving... More

We ordered a large pizza and they split it in half as our kids are picky. The cheese had a tangy taste to it and we loved it. Nice little place to people watch. Another great pick thanks to TA

2 salads 1 pizza and 2 giant crepes. That was lunch for a family of 4. Everything was excellent and portions are huge. Hubby and I had the salads, 16 year old son could not finish the pizza and 13 year old daughter had 2 crepes. Everything is fresh and the staff friendly. We will be back!
