We went there for the lobster. It was delicious. Very casual atmosphere. The yellow rice was also terrific. Don't pay with U.S. Dollars, they use 12 pesos to a dollar instead of 14.6

Six of us want we to try Caribbean Lobster and Picus was the right choice. We had several sizes to choose from and we all picked the smallest at 200 pesos .Grilled w butter. Perfect ..,served w rice, guacamole and small salad . More than enough .Located right on the water w a beach "floor". Great nite

Put your feet in the sand, hear the lapping of the water on the fishing boats, enjoy the very pleasant live music, and dig into a mixed seafood cocktail with a cold Sol con limon ... guacamole on the side!!! Heaven!!!

The best selling point for this restaurant is that it seems to be always full of local Mexicans!! Surely they know the best food. My favourite dish here was the fish skewers, excellent!

We had stopped in for a couple of beers one night to get out of the misty rain. The people were so nice and we noticed many local families. There was a group eating a big fish with all the trimmings. It looked so good we decided it is a must. Driving by a few more times on our way... More

Picus is great - they have wonderful service and extremely fresh food with a wonderful location. We ate there 3 of our 7 nights because we couldn't find something that beat it.

We tried Picus this year for the first time due to the fact that our favourite ceviche restaurant was closed for renovations. My husband ordered the seafood cocktail and he found it compared very well. I ordered the mixed ceviche which, although quite good, was a smaller portion and the octopus in it was rubbery. Home made salsa and chips... More

This was my first meal on Isla this visit and my first time to Picus. I started with shrimp cocktail. The shrimp was plentiful but the sauce was too sweet for my taste. The guacamole was good if a bit underseasoned. I enjoyed the fresh fish and the 6 year old in me LOVED the buttered white rice. Good service... More

We visit Isla Mujeres a couple times a year and always stop by Picus for dinner. My husband and I had a fried fish for two people and it was the best fish I've ever eaten! It was so good we ate there 2 more nights while on our trip to Isla. Their shrimp cocktail was also some of the... More

We were looking for a good local restaurant to have fresh lobster and asked several locals. We heard "the food is always good at Picus" more than once. So we gave it a try. Sat 20 feet from the water's edge, had fresh lobsters (which we were able to select from several choices) and a great meal. The price was... More
