Ate here on 3/25/14. Visited the island for a day. Hired a taxi driver (lived on the island for 30+ years) for about 4 hours, and he recommended this place for somewhere with seafood and burgers. This was THE BEST ceviche ever! I think it was about 90 pesos. If I ever get back to Isla Mujeres, I will be... More

Picus - it's simple, humble, laid back, clean bathrooms, awesome food and wonderful people (owner/staff) ...I love this place! And a real bonus for the trip was that music man and his family were back again (and he also played at Sunset Grill this time)..lovely family and he's so talented!

We ate here our first night on Isla this year. Great food and decent prices, plus a beautiful place to eat on the sand.

If sitting out on the beach with your toes in sand which enjoying some of the freshest and most flavorful fish you'll ever find is your idea of a good time then you have to make your way to Picus. Great place to kick back enjoy some great food and drink while the waves soothe away all your cares.

We ordered the whole fried fish and chicken nachos. Both were excellent but the server all but otherwise ignored us. We had to keep signaling to other servers for help and to order more beer. I had the opportunity to eat here a second time and passed it up in favor of Olivia's and was glad I did.

We ate here two nights in a row. Everything we ordered was wonderful! The fajitas were very flavorful. The fish tacos were excellent. The ceviche is to die for! The view of the boats and your feet in the sand while you eat are also a plus!

I might actually rate a 4, but seeing that they are only listed as #72, I think they deserve to bump up the list. Our family of 4 was completely satisfied here. Everything was great--service, food quality, etc. It wasn't necessarily unique or anything, but it met all of our expectations. My son was totally occupied playing in the sand... More

Feet in the sand. Wonderful margaritas. Better than good food. Beautiful views across the water to Cancun. This is how to enjoy Isla Mujeres.

Located near the ferry station, no frills, plastic tables and chairs on the beach.....We ordered fish tacos wich hardly had and fish on them and were very bland and the the seafood fajitas which again was small for the price. Won't bother trying it again.....very disappointing! On a positive note the waiter spoke very good English and was attentive.

What a great little restaurant this is. No frills but good food combined with excellent service and fantastic views. Sitting literally ten feet from the water on the beach, this little place has chairs where you can actually sit right in the sand on the beach and watch the sunset with the fishing boats coming and going. Beautiful sunset views.... More
