We ate at Picus twice during our three days on Isla Mujeres. We loved sitting on the ocean with the sand in our toes. I asked my waiter for a recommendation and he recommended a fish dish with mushrooms (so helpful that I remembered so many details about it ha ha). It was really good, and I liked the pico... More

We went to Picus at least 5 times in a week. Why try somewhere else when we were so happy at picus? They have good guacamole and excellent fish dishes. We had the broshete de mariscos several times because it was so good. It's a grilled kebab with fish, shrimp, onion, tomato and carrot. The fish has plenty of butter... More

We stepped off the ferry and walked right into Picus with luggage and all. Had the ceviche mixto and margaritas. Both were some of the best of our 9 days on Isla. The conch ceviche is out of this world. Oh and great friendly service from Felix!

I have traveled to Isla Mujeres many times over the past 10 years and one of my favorite restaurants in Isla is Picus. The restaurant is on the beach. It is covered and you sit in chairs in the sand while the curteous and hard working staff makes some of the finest seafood dishes on the island. One one trip,... More

The best thin about this place was the service - and after staying in a hotel where it lacked and the mood was down, I have a new appreciation for great service. They weren't pushy getting you in the door, but once in they were very friendly and attending. Love music was an added bonus and set the mood. We... More

I had been to Mujeres before, but not Picus. I found it on day two of my most recent trip and went there every day after that. The staff are realy friendly and not over-bearing, that the whole place is on the sand from the street right through to the tables on the beach by the sea is charming, the... More

We went to Picus for dinner tonight. They fill the bill in so many ways--beautiful views of the water and the sunset, friendly service, and delicious seafood. We had grilled shrimp and fish prepared in the traditional style. Both dishes were great, came with all the sides, and satisfied us completely. Wonderful music filled the night. We left completely relaxed.... More

We have been going to Picus for 10 years. Shrimp ceviche is very good, as is garlic fish, garlic shrimp. seafood soup and whole fried fish. It's fun to watch the fishermen come in and sell their fresh fish. Had a red snapper, stuffed with seafood, literally right off the boat, which was delicious.

we had heard raves about this place and really looked forward to it. I must say the location is great, kids played in sand And there was a lot of action. Lots of competing noises of bands on both Sides. The guy at our restaurant was using the echo feature of his key board to ill effect. If you don't... More
