The only sand floor, garden courtyard located on Hidalgo (main street where all the action is), not only has incredible ambience but amazing food and drinks. Our great staff would love to pour you one of ComoNo's famous frozen mojitos along with house specialities such as Thai Green Curry Chicken over basmati rice, chicken, sundried tomato, artichoke and brie linguine or some of our caribbean grill specails - charbroiled new york with blue cheese and a brandy mushroom cream sauce......

Come for the food stay for the music

I had the best shrimp I have ever eaten. I got the half kilo plate. It will be the standard by which I judge shrimp for a long time to come. The roasted beet salad was the perfect accompaniment. there was live music on the roof. I did not catch the name of the act but it was a man... read more

I have been to Isla and enjoyed El Patio before, however the new owner has ruined it. She combined two wonderful resturants and made it into a terrible place. She is rude to staff and the food quality has dropped exponentially.

My sister had a half kilo shrimp and beet salad and declared it one of the best meals ever. Skip the falafel. Nice place. Cash only like many restaurants on the island.

We were disappointed to see this place sell out to the Cancun crowd. We used to love to eat dinner here with our toes in the sand. The updates are a disappointment.

Found this little gem of a restaurant which was open midafternoon when others were closed. The bar serves a wonderful variety of drinks. We ordered the skirt steak and it was delicious! I had ordered mine medium rare, and it was too rare. Our server promptly took it back to the kitchen and returned with it cooked to perfection. The... More

Frozen Mojito is the BEST on the island. Also, we went multiple nights for the bands. John Cain and the Sol Rockers, IslaCali and 3 little pigs....some of the best entertainment on the island. The owner Penny is is so sweet and remembered us on each visit.

My family and I have been going to El Patio for years to listen to music and just hang out. We loved it before, but the recent change from 2 separate restaurants (ComoNo/El Patio) to just El Patio and all of the renovations inside have really made a big difference. The courtyard looks amazing with all the changes. One of... More

The courtyard is so cute!! Love the backyard feel and cool bar built around the tree. We only had drinks and listened to live music. Great place!

We recently stumbled upon this lovely hidden restaurant, and we were so glad we did! From the start the staff were attentive, the drinks great (try the fantastic mojitos!), and our food was amazing (the tacos were my favourite). Live music - the two bands we saw play while we were there made the night. So good, the atmosphere was... More
