Read the great reviews and had to give it a try. Glad I did, the pitta was extremely tasty and filling. Went for the extra mushrooms and they were really tasty too. Interesting restaurant too with lots of stuff to read on the walls. Great beer prices too, 35 peso for two nice cold beers Very limited menu but who... More

Great little place with a simple menu consisting of tasty pitas. We went for the chicken and vegetarian option, both tasted great!

Best pitas ever! Period! My favorite is the chicken one! Good walking distance location. Have to try Pita Amore when in Isla Mujeres!

I've been traveling to Isla Mujeres about once a year for the last 5 years. During my first trip there I discovered a shack with a sign outside that read "Pita Amore". The owner, Ricardo, welcomed me and my husband like old friends, and we've been friends ever since. Friendship aside though, the food in this tiny place is seriously... More

I came here with a friend that said it was one of his favorite spots to eat on the island and it was spot on delicious. I got a chicken pita and the sauces blew my mind! It was a very good and filling meal for only 65 pesos. I will be back!!

The most unique and delicious meal I had on Isla was at Pita Amore. I ordered the Vegetarian dish, sans mushrooms and garlic sauce (I'm not a mushroom fan), and it tasted like a gourmet meal on a pita. The eclectic combinations of ingredients and flavors the proprietor has cooked up here is simply divine. Oh and their flan is... More

Clearly I'm stealing a line from another TA "reviewer" but they - and most of us - have it "right". Clearly the best flan on this or any island (and I've been around) and, of course, the simple pitas they serve (which must have the added mushroom and garlic sauce) are simply wonderful.... Not so sure about having two (as... More

Pita Amore is just a little place across from the walk in clinic, down from Arlene Francis Hotel and around the corner from the Super Express in El Centro. The menu is very simple but everything is cooked right in front of you and is awesome! On our last visit we two of us had a scrambled egg and meat... More

I braved the downpouring rain to get to Pita Amore for a Chino and some flan. As always everything was excellent. Luis was there waiting with a smile and shaking his head that I'd just trekked through a monsoon to have a sandwich. I mentioned for a sandwich that good I would have swam there! Pita Amore is a must... More
