Pita Amore - A unique fusion of Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine, prepared with love, on a family-secret pita bread. Chino, vegetarian, chicken and beef. Nicely basted with a pesto, grilled to perfection on a plancha. Topped of with the secrets of our French Culinary Institute of New York Graduate Chef Ricardo. This food is addictive - a single visit just doesn't cut it. Unbelievable to find this quality of food in Isla Mujeres near Cancun Quintana Roo Mexico.

Great memories for my family members!

My family loves the pitas and the host of this cozy place. Over the years of many visits, my family and friends feel like are like they are family here. Wonderful.

Charming outside. Very small menu of 5 items including one vegetarian. Special Pita was good, not outstanding. Only opens at 12-noon, but stays open late in evening. Waiter was very friendly but forgot my beverage order. Bathroom leaves something to be desired. Would not go out of my way to eat there. My wife liked it better than I, but,... More

I had the Mayan Pita and it was delicious. Is now a favourite. Ricky and Marco are always so welcoming with their big smiles. Many customers I see there are repeat ones and I hear them say how much they enjoy it there too. Also appreciate that they sell Sol beer there too.

Ricardo's Pita Amore is worth walking one short block off of Hidalgo. The pitas are to die for; very fresh and quality ingredients. We've been here several times and it's fantastic food every time. Thanks to Ricardo And his staff for creating great food served with a smile!

Our favorite spot on the island for lunch-- no sides, just one great pita! The crew is also very friendly. Limited seating

Even after six years and almost seventy thousand pitas, Ricardo has managed to keep up this delightful cuisine. A sous chef's true touch. Don't miss Pita Amore on Isla!

Pita Amore's initial attraction was tasty, fresh, healthy, inexpensive food and you could bring your own beer or wine. Fast forward 2 years and they now serve 25 peso beer and a very generous 79 peso glass of wine. The food is still exceptional. There is a vegetarian option. The service is attentive. The flan is the best on the... More

Excellent lunch place and don't let the looks fool you. Very simple menu and it's all Pita. In our group was the Classic pita with sautéed mushrooms, plus a Chino pita. Damn good food and hit the spot for lunch on a hot day.

We stopped here for lunch because we had read reviews and it sounded good as well as a little different. It is a tiny little place but comfortable. The food is cooked right in front of you and is fresh, fresh, fresh as well as very delicious! My husband and I both had the chicken pita and it was a... More
