We dined at little gem of a spot multiples times, and loved everything we tired! From the huevous motulenous to the mixto ceviche, it was all outstanding. Roberto cooking in the back, and Mary up front make a great team. Roberto even added chorizo to my huevous ranchero for me.

We ate here several times... More

We had a golf cart today so ventured a ways from our hotel. We were very glad to find this restaraunt for lunch. I had camaroon tacos which were excellent. My find enjoyed the beef tacos. Another Isla Mujeres surprise. Very nice.

This review is when I visited them last August (2014). I had the queso fundido and pork tacos. I was the only customer there. It was probably 100 degrees as the sun set. This is essentially a restaurant inside of a house. The servers and presumably family were watching a soap opera on tv. There were clothes hanging to dry.... More

If you are anywhere near La Gloria - the town down near the turtle farm - you must eat at La Bruja ("The Witch"). The couple who run it are very friendly and the food is simply marvelous. We had scrumptious shrimp tacos and lobster, and incredible sopa de limon (lime soup with chicken - is hearty enough for a... More

When we visit Isla one of our first stops is LaBruja. Real Mexico, great food & delightful hosts. Like eating with family. There's a reason so many locals eat here
