not fancy but the tacos were good and the beer was cold, service was very attentive. Bathroom is rough but no more than any other Isla local eatery

I always live going to this place, one of the few places you can see the fresh fish brought in the front door to be a great meal. They have a great selection to choose from and you always walk away with a very full stomach. Highly recommend if you want to have a great Mexican home cooked meal.

Roberto & Maria are always very welcoming and appreciate you. We always try to make it there a few times each visit. Love the enchiladas & grouper fish. Maria always has a smile on her face. Great place!

Nuf said. Best ever! Fun ambiance. Get the empanadas! The service was excellent as well. Friendly. It was obvious that much care was taken during the food prep. We heard about the restaurant as a local favorite. Get the empanadas.

Read about this place in the Map Chick maps but it did not live up to expectations the way all their other recommendation have. Unfriendly server would have rather we not showed up. Maybe she should have said they were closed for siesta. Drive past at dinner and there were still zero patrons. Pretty good food but they were limited... More

Saw this place on one of the isla maps and wanted to give it a try. Was looking for some local "Mexican" food and it was seemingly a little hard to come by on Isla. We arrived for lunch and there was only one other occupied table with a couple of locals. One of the owners (Maria) came out and... More

we ate here three times on our recent trip to isla and each time had a great experience, it's a very modest place with a lot of charm in my opinion but if you are expecting something more than that then you should stay away. we had the enchiladas suizas which were excellent, the pulpo and sopa de lima, both... We dined at little gem of a spot multiples times, and loved everything we tired! From the huevous motulenous to the mixto ceviche, it was all outstanding. Roberto cooking in the back, and Mary up front make a great team. Roberto even added chorizo to my huevous ranchero for me.
