One of my favorites in Isla

Lovely little family place with local atmosphere and excellent food. What you get for the price was more then we'll worth it. Horchata was very nice as well.

La Bruja was closed New Years Day so we went the next day for lunch. This is where you want to go for the authentic, small dining experience. Maybe 5 tables in there. The guacamole and pico de gallo were fresh and very good. Their margaritas were small but made perfectly for our taste. Fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and ceviche... More

Awesome little hole in the wall with very good prices. The lobster is awesome! The beer is cold! I will definitely return next time we're on the island.

This was a wonderful 'find' in a neighborhood near the hospital on isla de la mujeres. It was recommended by a local, and I can see why!!! Fresh local lobster, marinated beef to die for...Roberto and his wife are amazing. Worth the trip!!!

I have been to La Bruja many times and have been pleased-until tonight. Some restaurants-either intentionally or because they do not know the difference-serve the cheaper fish called basa when grouper is ordered. That happened at La Bruja. The taste difference is remarkable. The server just shrugged her shoulders. It is a shame. With over 140 restaurants on the island... More

Just before our Siesta, we stopped at this local, family run spot. We ended up sampling Guacamole, Empanadas, Pollo, and so much more because it was so good! A really nice local restaurant, with a nice, quiet relaxing atmosphere! The owners were genuinely happy to see us and made this meal even more enjoyable.

Authentic small joint recommended by fellow diners at one of our favorites El Varadero. In the La GLORIA section, this small gem ranked right up there with one heck of a perfectly made margarita. Sopa pescado was maybe the best on the island. Fish extremely fresh. Quacamole also ranked near, if not at the top. Shrimp fajitas were not just... More

I just love to eat at this place, all good local fresh seafood and cooked the way its suppose to be cooked. Always seem to walk away stuffed and satisfied. Great little place to eat.

This total hole in the wall Mexican restaurant serves up inexpensive dinners with zero fanfare or ambiance. We started with some perfectly fried chips and delicious home made salsa. For my main course I had an arrachera steak that was pretty flavorful but the over cooked frozen vegetables that accompanied it were a bit of a let down. My wife... More
