One of the best meals we had... very Western appeal, very clean... we sat in air conditioned comfort and had a delightful meal, even saw a celebrity or 2 (Amerian actors!). Highly recommended brekkie... bloody delicous.

Rooster Café is on the northern end of Hidalgo, and offers a chance to sit inside in air conditioned comfort. Arriving about 10:30 we never even considered an outside table. Luckily, the AC is comfortable and not ice cold. We started with creamy banana licuados with almond and cinnamon (47 pesos each). My wife ordered the French toast (97 pesos)... More

Staff were very friendly. A/C we had some food and drink. Very nice small place, a little back to normality as it were. Highly recommend.

Stopped in as they were getting ready to close and they sat us anyway. Panini's were awesome. Great service. Definitely going back to try their breakfast!

Enjoyed a nice breakfast at Roosters on a sleepy September Monday. Omar, our server, was great--friendly, attentive and professional. Tasty omelette and some nice homemade bread. Good value and a great location.

Great small restaurant on Hidalgo with good coffee, great omelets, friendly service (Thanks, Omar) and freshly made bread. Perfect way to begin your day on the island.

Amazing breakfast place, cool for lunch but definitely not a dinner stop. Food was good.I had the lobster eggs benedict, and we had the most amazing french toast. Great find and they take credit cards to boot !

Food was great & the staff was very nice too. I had the omelette Isla Mujeres - yummy. It was convenient that we could charge the meal to our room in this restaurant too. We only had breakfast here, so I can't comment on lunch, but the breakfast portions are pretty large, and they brought us homemade bread before our... More

Stopped in for breakfast our first morning and went back again and again. Rooster took simple oatmeal and elevated it to art form with a fruit "bird" on top featuring apple slices spread like wing feathers and a strawberry sliced as a tail, it's evident they take pride in what they're serving. Another breakfast featured yogurt with fruit and granola... More
