Another good dinner

Any fish dish is wonderful! Margaritas are strong. You can't beat toes in the sand while eating. Great place to watch the sunset.

Another great restaurant right on the beach. Miramar serves great fresh seafood. From the Ceviche to the whole red snapper every dish is fresh and tasty

We caught wind of the fantastic smell walking buy, rented our gold cart, asked for a good local place for we set out...he suggested Miramar, the same place we noticed walking to get cart. Great local menu, alot of seafood, good prices around 80 pesos for burger up to only 300 pesos for whole live lobster...right on beach...great staff

Had the most delicious Stuffed Grouper Fillet. It was stuffed with calamari, octopus, and shrimp. My wife had fish and chips which was also very good. Dinner was right on the water, with fantastic sunsets. Will definitely return.

Of the many small, locally run beachfront restaurants, this is probably the best. It is the second restaurant N of the passenger ferry dock along the beach. The matron, Tomasa Magana Canton, runs a tight ship. This is where you go for truly fresh fish; fishing boats sit on the beach literally up into the outer tables. I search for good... More

We stopped one evening for dinner on this trip. Garlic fish is always great here. Service was excellent. Before we went in we were told 2 for 1 mohitos, the bill didn't reflect that so we brought it up to the waiters attention. Problem solved.

Miramar was recommended by an ex-pat we ran into at a street fair. My fish was pretty good and my wife enjoyed hers, but our friends were not happy when they were served a dressed whole fish. They had no idea how to eat around the bones. Being right on the beach near the ferry terminal with a lot of... More

We took the ferry over to the island to find a place for lunch and stumbled upon Miramar... What a nice surprise to find exactly what we were looking for. We sat right on the beach and drank beer while the kids played in the water until our food was ready. I ordered the fresh lobster which was delicious and... More

Have been coming here at least once per trip for years but were highly disappointed this visit when a 'tax' appeared on the bill. When questioned the waiter first said 'everyone gets it', then after more discussion, said that all I had to pay was the 'pretax' amount and that the tax was 'optional' although that was not stated anywhere.... Excellent staff and views and take your camera with you! We loved this spot. Right downtown near the ferries and we saved this for our last night in town. Lovely setting. We had the coconut shrimp and the grilled shrimp and shared! Such ample shrimp plates....we could have shared one order! Huge, delectable shrimp with the best margaritas ever! This... More
