We always eat here many times when on Isla, one of the most reliable places to eat, always great value and very well prepared food. Love the ladies that prepare the food :). Looking forward to eating here again.

When downtown and want to have a good local fast meal, this is the place. I love their tacos and a coca for a quick meal. They do a great job with great service.

We stay on Playa Norte and this restaurant is really close, inexpensive and has really good breakfast. We had "divorced eggs," pancakes, french toast, ranchero eggs and some other items. We ate here a few times and found it to be one of the best breakfasts during our trip. We had banana shakes one morning and they were perfect. Not... More

We drove by this placed and it was packed with locals. We decided to try it the next day for breakfast. I ordered the Motulenos and it did not disappoint! It was 2 fried corn tortillas with refried black beans, 2 fried eggs, cheese, peas, ham topped with a mild tomato sauce. Also came with rice, plantain, and a stack... More

1st place we ate coming to the island on June 29th after not being here 3 years. Everything we ate was either too dry (chicken tostadas), too bland (fish tacos) or too chewy (tacos de bistec). Very disappointed and won't return.

This place is located under a shared roof with 3-4 other similar food counters with similar menus. The prices are SUPER cheap, and we wish we would have discovered it sooner for breakfast and a quick beach lunch. The menu is in both english and spanish, and the prices really can't be beat. We had breakfast here on our last... More

Stumbled across this place one day after a few hours on playa norte. Lucky us! The watermelon water is delicious, fish tacos are amazing, guacamole fantastic. And also Super cheap. Only open until early afternoon I think. Best lunch on Isla :-)

We loved this place despite the grumpy staff. The food was cooked to perfection. Great portions. I had banana pancakes. I was expecting the bananas to be sliced laying on top, nope, sliced and cooked in the pancakes. Shut the front door!! The mixed omelet was yummy! Comes with rice and refried beans. I truly loved this place, just wish... More

They serve breakfast and lunch, but their breakfast is what they are known for. Everything is cooked to order and in the order the orders are received- plus the occasional meal for a local kid. If you are in a hurry you might want to go somewhere else. If you are going to get uptight if you have to wait... More
