Great ceviche and shrimp cocktail

I love that this place is owned and operated by the island's fishermen co-op. The service is great, and the shrimp cocktail is massive and amazing. We ate there for a lunch a few times, and I couldn't stop ordering it even though the rest of the menu looked delicious. My husband had the fish in... read more

Love this place, ate there 4 times on a 10 day trip. I ordered the stuffed fish, my companion ordered the fish of the day grilled. The ceviches are the best on the island. No frills, casual atmosphere. Great location to watch the sunset, get there by 6 pm for the sunset and enjoy the best seafood on the island.... More

This waterfront restaurant is right across the street from our hotel Bahia Chac Chi. They had fresh hogfish cooked whole and it is great. Be aware they serve the Vietnamese basa for filet dishes. I am surprised a fishermans coop would sell such a fish. The shrimp cocktail was fantastic. They also have fajitas available for non seafood eaters

The best part of this restaurant is the view and the sand between your toes. The Margaritas were weak, the service unremarkable, but the prices economical and the food tasty. I had the whole fish in garlic sauce and my husband had the fillet in garlic sauce. Don't let the mild garlic sauce scare you away as it was by... More

While vacationing on Isla we always love to have Tix n Chix at least once during our stay. This trip a friend of ours that lives on the island recommended Justicia Social. What a pleasant surprise to find this place hiding in plain sight. The dish was excellent and the four of us had no problem devouring it along with... More

we had a lobster dinner one evening. The service was good and the food was just average. I found it pricey, the lobster tank was really dirty and the lobster was overcooked and tough. I think there would be better restaurant choices on isla.

This is just south of the busiest part of town, and we ate a lunch and a dinner here, fresh fish and shellfish, pick your lobster out of the trap. Prices are great for the quality of the food, we stuck w/ the catch of the day, done in a variety of options.Very local feel and taste!

Hands down the best seafood I have ever experienced. Our party shared several different plates, everything was excellent. If you are looking for an elegant evening, this may not be for you. After all, you are at a working fish co-op. If you are looking for the freshest food, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Perfect place in town for fabulous fish - we had ceviche. Not the tourist shacks down the street but a more authentic feel of a real fisherman's restaurant. Watching the pelicans play and the boats come and go. Casual, good, cheap - glad it was recommended to us.

We got the medium ceviche which was huge and filled with shrimp, fish, calamari, octopus and conch. delicious. We both got fish meals, my fish covered in cheese and stuffed with sea food (think ceviche ingredients), hers parmesan encrusted. Portions are huge. Simple setting, waiter was great. A must do if you a no-frills sea food lover. I think the... More
