When my partner and I headed back to Isla Mujeres, two of my oldest friends and one of his dearest, were with us. Here's what it's not: a place for folks who want to feel fancy; a place for folks who want to drink brightly colored drinks; air-conditioned. Here's what it is: identifiable by the orange and white awnings; directly... More

The freshest fish, the best guacamole, and a beatiful view. Lots of locals, and good prices. We were very happy with this find! The Cerviche was amazing!!! The view of the fishing boats and of Cancun while the sun sets.... the whole package!

NOW, THIS is the kind of ceviche one thinks of when they think of mexican beaches and cold Dos Equis (Dos Equis AMBER no less!). I was more than pleased with a quick late lunchtime stop in here post brunch for ceviche and cold beers. Other dishes I saw served looked pretty good, definitely one of the most fresh seafood... I lost count how many times we ate here on our recent trip to the island. Such fresh food! Ceviche and their whole fried grooper is amazing! Locals love it. I love it. And so will you:)

Great ceviche and shrimp cocktail. Watched the fisherman work as we ate lunch! Someone ordered lobster and the server walked over to the water and pulled a lobster right out for them!

Please, do not be put off by the simple façade & building, the food is great! This restaurant is run by a Fisherman's Cooperative and has the freshest seafood. It is right along the water with great views of the marina. We enjoyed shrimp cocktails, mixed seafood and shrimp ceviches, and fish tacos one evening...the best we have had! Very... More

I love, love, love the shrimp cerviche along with just about everything else on the menu. The garlic fish is a stable, seafood stuffed fish is delicious but so rich! The staff is very nice and we have gotten to know a few of them over the years. They always remember us and make us feel very welcome. We usually... More

Justicia Socail is a local fisherman's coop restaurant naturally specializing in seafood. Fresh everything. Want lobster? You'll walk down to the bay which practically comes right into the restaurant, the waiter will haul out a large crate of live lobster, pick one out and enjoy. We see lots of local people eating here as well as tourists. It's just south... More
