Spent another week on Isla. Dined with Giacomo three times. Had friends come in mid week and couldn't think of a better place with a table on Hidalgo. Giacomo graciously accommodated us. Risotto is to die for and my Yankee friend loves the gnocchi. Had grouper tonight. Outstanding. Tell Giacomo I sent you.

There are so many amazing places to eat on Isla, but our favorite spot year after year continues to be Mamma Rosa's on Hildago! The food, ambiance and welcoming owner makes this one of Islas best places. Don't miss it!!

Another wonderful dinner at Momma Rosa. Always a favorite stop for our group on Hidalgo. Great location and great service! Pizza is delicious too. Bolognes and spaghetti with meatballs are wonderful dishes. We'll be back again!

Lovely restaurant particularly at lunch time. Great pasta and lovely salads. However I did have tomato in my Caesar salad which was a first but none the less it was all very tasty. Fun to eat and watch the world go by

Having dined at Mamma Rosa's in the past, first time was great, second time, not so much, and, sadly the last time was a huge disappointment. The food was mediocre, at best, and the attitude of the owners was very insulting. Our waiter did as much as he could do to make up for their rudeness, but it was not... More

We have eaten here before and it was ok...but we ordered two pizzas to go this time. I should have gone to the grocery store and picked up some frozen pizza...these were terrible...no sauce to speak of, very little cheese, greasy half done pizzas...so..don't get take out...they don't care since you won't know until you get back to your rental...shame... 2nd night in Isla we went to this place. Needed a change after eating fish for nearly 2 days. Risky doing Italian in mexico until I learned jackamo the owner is from Tuscany. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was wonderful. Our waiter Javier made great recommendations. Location is prime. Right near shopping and other fine dining. Highly recommend... More

We ate here for dinner. My husband had spaghetti with spicey meatballs and I had the raviolis. Neither one was good. They had no taste at all. Even the bread was dense, breaking apart when you try to dip in olive oil and balsamic. Sangria was good. Service was good.

We went here because Angelos was closed for low season. We had nice bottle of wine a Tempranillo and great pizza. I don't know why this place is rated so low its allways good.
