We went here because Angelos was closed for low season. We had nice bottle of wine a Tempranillo and great pizza. I don't know why this place is rated so low its allways good.

This little Italian place is pretty good. Prices are fair and as my wife can tell you... The wine pours are great! The selection of wines is about the best on the island and if you are a wino like her, you will be eating here more than once!

Service was great, bread stale, tasty Pinot Grigo, fabulous calamari, ridiculous seafood del mar - no flavor sauce, tasted and looked like frozen mixed seafood in a bag. So all in all a glass of wine, a little people watching and some squid ......but skip having dinner

We visited this restaurant only once during our stay. As it was a particularly humid night we chose to sit inside where we decided the AC would be our saving grace however this was not the case. Perhaps even warmer than outside we almost over heated whilst eating our meal. The service however was good and the portion sizes acceptable.... More

It is not that amazing except that compared to so many of the others it is one of the few options. Staff as so many on the island are quite surly.

a lovely place, so picturesque and the owners an Argentinian couple are so lovely. we enjoyed the food, we had fish in various styles and also some pasta. The fish was slightly salty and came as a fillet which was quite nice. pasta was quite good. tacos were delicious. Only negative was that it was quite pricey compared with Hidalgo... More

We went here with our kids to have a pizza. The pizza itself was very nice... and the bowls of pasta they serve are plentiful. Nevertheless, there are a few things that were not great: 1. I dont like being served soft drinks out of a big bottle. If you are paying restaurant prices for a soft drink they ought... More

Not only was the food just mediocre, which is saying something on an island with many great choices of restaurants, but the service was really bad. We both had pizzas, the Maialinda and the Isla. Had to ask three times for drink refills. Restaurant wasn't even busy, but the servers just weren't paying any attention. Food was okay, but just... More

Mamma Rosa is a staple for at least one visit per trip. We were, again, very happy with our visit. The husbands each had a pasta dish, declared excellent and we split the risotto primavera which was absolutely wonderful! A must go to if you love Italian food and are on Isla. You will not be disappointed....
