Authentic Mexican Breakfast

This is my favorite breakfast place on the island. The Cazuela Rancheros is served piping hot and will have you craving it again and again. The fruit plate is a great starter and is enough to share. Service is good and friendly

I visited LA Cazuela MJ based on trip advisor reviews, plus my small Pasadena Maria del Pilar was very close. Awesome food, service, and Isla hospitality. They have an original take on egg dishes which were fantastico, treat yourself and the agua and coffee were great too.

A refreshingly varied menu of items prepared by chefs. I enjoyed the cinnamon & sugar crepes with honey, and my wife enjoyed granola & fruit with yogurt. (Don't know how they dice the fruit so small). The young lady that waited on us was charming, efficient and very patient. A new go-to place when we visit Isla.

I had the Huevos Tex-Mex and my girl had one of the Cazuelas. It was cooked to perfection. It is served on a hot stoneware plate (AKA Cazuela). We have been several times over the past few years and it is always consistent. The prices aren't outrageous either. Definitely give them a go!

Very tasty breakfast. Service was good and the Cazuela was so delicious. Hubby also had the special potato that they do, so yummy!

This place is so tasty. We happened to find it walking around and decided to stop in for breakfast the next day. They have great coffe, great hot sauce, and these dishes that are served on a hot clay plate. They are on the left side of the menu, and there is a description on the bottom right side of... More

I really wish we hadn't waited until our last morning on the island to try this restaurant!!! I had the Cazuela Ranchera, and OMG, so good and piping hot!!! I can't remember what my husband had, but it was just as delicious!!! Luckily we make it to Isla Mujeres twice a year and I'm looking forward to having this again...it... More

I really liked their food and juice bar, and the meal was a good value. We stayed at a B&B and this was our only breakfast out. The atmosphere was pleasant, service good, and I really enjoyed the meal.

We dined here in Jan and weren't really impressed. I ordered the fruit crepe and coffee. The coffee was not that good and my fruit crepe was nearly tasteless. I knew it wouldn't be as good as cafe hidlago but the fruit was mostly watermelon which is a little weird in a crepe, especially since I had to open the... More
