Good breakfast

A very good breakfast choice for us. Right up there with the Mango Cafe as our favorite while on Isla. We liked all the dishes. The cazuela m&j was impressive. Price range in the higher end for breakfast.

Great place to enjoy breakfast on isla. The chef offers a cazuela egg dish with various fillings. I had the shrimp, tomato, herb and gouda. It is baked in a clay dish and would be similar to a open faced omelet. Large selection of breakfast dished including crepes and fresh juices. Chef is really friendly.

We went here for breakfast one morning. I had one of their signature dishes (cazuela) and my husband had the omelette. My husband said his dish was good. I thought mine was OK – I felt like there was a lot of cheese which made it kinda greasy. Service was good. I’m not sure that we would return. Dishes were... More

We went here on the recommendation of the gentleman we are renting a casita from on the island. Both my husband and I had the asparagus and ham Cazuelas. They were amazing! An experience fit for any foodie! We also ordered OJ and it was fresh squeezed in a huge glass for 25 pesos or so, in Canada a glass... More

We ate here twice on our last trip, and the meals were both winners! We didn't have the cazuelas, but opted for the complete breakfast which includes toast and jam, mini fruit plate, eggs with refried beans and choice of meat. Coffee and fresh orange juice also came with it. My daughter had hotcakes, which she liked. I really enjoy... More

My wife and I split one of the Cazuela and fruit plate. The Cazuela was great. A different spin on an omelet. The fruit plate was fresh and nicely plated. Would definitely go back if we are ever on Isla again.

We had breakfast here twice; once with a party of six and once with just my wife and me. If you visit be sure to try one of the chef's inventions. They are called cazuelas and are a mix of a soufle and something else. They are definitely unique and tasty. The restaurant is located on a corner and it's... More

Food was amazing, service was a bit slow, but you are on island life so why hurry..Make sure to try the speciality dish created by the owner.

I had the Cazuela which is scrambled eggs topped with Gouda cheese. I had mine with tomatoes and green peppers. It's served in a stone pan and comes all bubbly and cheesy right out of the oven.
