Try the Cazuela Mexicana

Very tasty breakfast. Service was good and the Cazuela was so delicious. Hubby also had the special potato that they do, so yummy!

This place is so tasty. We happened to find it walking around and decided to stop in for breakfast the next day. They have great coffe, great hot sauce, and these dishes that are served on a hot clay plate. They are on the left side of the menu, and there is a description on the bottom right side of... More

I really wish we hadn't waited until our last morning on the island to try this restaurant!!! I had the Cazuela Ranchera, and OMG, so good and piping hot!!! I can't remember what my husband had, but it was just as delicious!!! Luckily we make it to Isla Mujeres twice a year and I'm looking forward to having this again...it... More

I really liked their food and juice bar, and the meal was a good value. We stayed at a B&B and this was our only breakfast out. The atmosphere was pleasant, service good, and I really enjoyed the meal.

We dined here in Jan and weren't really impressed. I ordered the fruit crepe and coffee. The coffee was not that good and my fruit crepe was nearly tasteless. I knew it wouldn't be as good as cafe hidlago but the fruit was mostly watermelon which is a little weird in a crepe, especially since I had to open the... More

A very good breakfast choice for us. Right up there with the Mango Cafe as our favorite while on Isla. We liked all the dishes. The cazuela m&j was impressive. Price range in the higher end for breakfast.

Great place to enjoy breakfast on isla. The chef offers a cazuela egg dish with various fillings. I had the shrimp, tomato, herb and gouda. It is baked in a clay dish and would be similar to a open faced omelet. Large selection of breakfast dished including crepes and fresh juices. Chef is really friendly.

We went here for breakfast one morning. I had one of their signature dishes (cazuela) and my husband had the omelette. My husband said his dish was good. I thought mine was OK – I felt like there was a lot of cheese which made it kinda greasy. Service was good. I’m not sure that we would return. Dishes were... More

We went here on the recommendation of the gentleman we are renting a casita from on the island. Both my husband and I had the asparagus and ham Cazuelas. They were amazing! An experience fit for any foodie! We also ordered OJ and it was fresh squeezed in a huge glass for 25 pesos or so, in Canada a glass... More
