Fredy's Pork Chop is Great!!

The wife and I stopped by Fredy's one evening to try his famous big Pork Chops. Fredy served us himself and i must say he has a more drier sense of humor then me! The Pork Chops came with a baked potato and some vegetables and they were delicious! Many people might not get Fredy's humor but I... read more

The baked black grouper with cheese was exquisite as was the guacamole. And if you can drink more than one of their margaritas you have more stamina than I. Fredy himself served us since it was a slow night. He is a riot and provides sharp witted banter that made us feel right at home.

We made a reservation a few days before NYE. I had the pork chop which I thought was very good. My wife had the shrimp dish, I think she liked mine better. Fredy is a jokester but some my not get his sense of humor and think he's being rude. Food was served quickly.

My wife and I had a great meal of grilled octopus and grouper. Plenty of garlic and it came with a potato or two. A welcome relief from white rice. The marguaritas were killer and cheap at 55p. Armchairs and cloth napkins were an unexpected highlight after days of micro-sized paper ones. A solid choice when on the island.

This is a classic place. The grouper is exquisite. Salads were nice. The margaritas are killers. My husband loved the mojo de ajo shrimp. Yummy but low key.

The pork chop still deserves high praise. We had it last year and again this year and it was just as good and the service was good. Friendly but not in your face

We went to Fredy's this past weekend with high hopes after reading all of the great reviews. What a disappointment. The server didn't even crack a smile the entire time, and looked like he would rather have been anywhere else but there. The guacamole was under limed and under-salted (we had to ask for both salt and limes to fix... More

I was so disapointed after looking forward to a great meal. The waiter barely said hello and when I asked if he was Fredy, all he said was, "I wish." I had a delicious pork chop with 3 new potatoes and some very sad brown broccoli. Hubby ha a beef brochettes which he said was okay. Only one other couple... More
