A great restaurant

Fredys is a fun character who serves great food. I especially like his baked shrimp and tortilla soup. His margaritas are really potent.

The cocktails were large, (double in size compared to the standard cocktails), but none of the... More

Great shrimp with cheese and pork chop. We never go to the same restaurant twice while on vacation but Fredy's in an exception ! We have been going to Fredy's since 1996.

We decided on Fredys based on the TA reviews. What a disappointment! We were seated & served by Fredy. The restaurant was fairly busy. We ordered a tomato/cucumber salad to start, the super pork chop & chicken enchiladas. We watched Fredy pound back 6 beer & still no salad. When our main courses arrived we asked where our salad was?... More

We had BREAKFAST again at Fredy's this morning, and I forgot to take a picture because I dug right in! It is called Mel & Alda's in the morning because his wife is the chef and it is named after his two grandchildren. Alda (about 8) waited on us this Saturday morning. He looks just like his grandpa! Ok, the... More

The grilled pork chops are some of the best we have ever eaten. Fredy was a joy & visited our table to chat. Very nice man. Service was great. Prices more than fair for quality of food. Very yummy!

Get the pork chop. It was the best piece of pork I have EVER eaten! Fredy is a great host and his sense of humor is dry and appreciated.

i liked my pork chop. loved the shrimp more. what really impressed me was fredy's personal involvement in a small domestic dispute at his restaurant. a couple, who seemed to know fredy and he knew them, got into a shouting fight at his restaurant. i think they had a great deal to drink. the couple decided on their own to...
