Great Food

Best pork chop and baked shrimp! We eat at Fredy's several times during a visit. My husband said best tortilla soup he's ever had!

Fredy is a man of few words, but definitely knows how to speak with food. My wife and I stopped to check out the fresh lobster "special" and were pleased at how well the lobster and vegetables tasted. As Fredy told us, "others have people standing out in front of their restaurants trying to hook you to come in and... More

I have been at least 6 times over the past 12 years and I make it a must stop. Fredy and his family always make us feel at home and the food is outstanding.

Has the most delicious chicken enchiladas I've ever had here. The sauce was unreal. Killer margs and fast service, though that may have been because it wasn't busy. Interesting guy the owner Fredy. Thanks for a great meal.

Fast friendly service. Fredy took care of us with a great meal and the service was very fast. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Lobster season is in right now in Isla! We got 5 while diving and took them to Fredy's. They prepared them for us and we had the Shrimp fajitas to go with them. The food was excellent and Fredy was a great host.

Freddie as usual gave us a great experience for our family. We enjoy visiting him every time on the island.

The staff here seemed less than pleased to accommodate our group of 9 people. Our waiter was very lazy and unhelpful. The grouper was fresh but wasn't seasoned well. Overall the food was quite bland. Not sure if we went on an off night but our experience was just blah. There are too many great places to eat on Isla... More

Those pork chops really are as good as everyone says! They were so delicious we returned a few nights later and had them again. We also tried the grilled fish and taquitos and both were very good, as were the margaritas. Service was quick and very friendly one night and quick and efficient the other night :)

I can't believe we didn't find Fredy's sooner. The baked shrimp is incredible. Fredy also makes a mean pina colada, and he's fun to talk to. This is one of Isla's true gems.
