Fine, but not exceptional

We were staying nearby at Privilege Aluxes, so we walked over to L'Argentine Grill, thinking it might be different than the other, mostly Italian places on the street. It wasn't very different, nor was it that good. Still lots of pasta and pizza offeriings on the menu. The waiter suggested a... read more

Lots of other restaurants to choose from that you will be much happier with. Two of four of our meals were uneatable. More expensive drinks than we ordered were delivered and charged for. Tip is included in your bill, and is included in a very confusing manner that may result in you double tipping. Not recommended.

We stopped for lunch and were very disappointed with the quality of food. I ordered a hamburger with BBQ sauce and bacon, and my husband ordered the chicken schnitzel (which he was told was a fried chicken patty on a bun). My hamburger had mystery fillers . . . not quite sure what they were, but it tasted different. The... More

After an aggressive solicitation sat for 15 minutes with the servers arguing about who is going to be stuck serving us we left. I would think our group of 8 well dressed people would not be something you avoided as a server but perhaps!

This is a great place if you want steak, especially the filet mignon that is as big as a pork tenderloin! Flavourful and tender. The service is great too. Julia is wonderful.

Expensive and terrible......Why I returned a second time is a mystery to me, different cut, same result. I can't comment on other choices, but avoid the pricey beef.

The first night on Isla Mujeres we went here. The restaurant is on the main drag of shops and restaurants so it has excellent people watching. For an appetizer we had the sausages which were fantastic! (the husband went back the next day for more but they were out) They brought a variety of breads too. For dinner we had the... More

This steak really was the best on the Isla Mujeres Island..We came back and had the Red Snapper fillet with butter and garlic and that was amazing also.We will always go back to that restaurant .The Hostess was so comfortable showing us the menu ..I wish all hostesses were that friendly and inviting...Hope to see you again next year...

We just left this restaurant. We were lured in by an aggressive hostess and growling stomachs . I had steak fajitas. An elementary school cafeteria could do better. My partner had cheese nachos with Swiss cheese on them. Waitress was prompt and friendly. Hopefully she can get a job at a real restaurant.

after walking past this restaurant every day, on our last night we finally stopped. The margarita was average, service was good and location was central. The breaded shrimp was the best I had on the island. Breading was crisp but not greasy and the shrimp were above average in size. Can't wait to go back to Isla!
