Wait staff was great, drinks are what you would expect but I should have left when the first thing the waiter said was that they had no pasta (not that I wanted it) or seafood (um hello, we are on an island right?). regardless we got the grill and the meat was sub-par fatty or tough and not very flavorful.

Our visit was amazing to L'Argentina! Our bartender, Rebecca, was amazing! Made us feel like home and took care of us. She makes one of the BEST MOJITOS! The scorpion shot is a must! If you want to experience what Isla Mujeres is all about you've got to pay a visit to L'Argentina!!!

We ordered 6 different items. 3 had octopus as part of the dish and all three in our party said it was the best they ever had. Nachos and tacos just OK and fajitas had very little meat.

I was in a group of 7. Most of us enjoyed the food immensely. Most of us had good service, too. If you order a bottle of wine, you get extra attention. (I didn't order wine). As a single in a group, my drink order slipped throgh their cracks. Food was worth it.

We tried twice and ordered a large variety of menus items. One or two were decent but most were WAY over cooked. Service good and drinks great - bartender did a nice job. Cooking on snow open flame should not be thief claim to fame.... But hey it's always packed so maybe something is working but up for us it's... More

Heads up! Pay careful attention to your bill, as they try to pass off the tip as part of the total amount due. Then, there is a chart of 'recommended tips' based on quality of service, (average, good, excellent, etc), implying (to me) that a tip had yet to be added. As for the rest of the meal, disappointing. We... More

The meat was so dry and not edible... The service was fine, but we told the them about the bad food they ignored... We definitely do not recommend!

I'm surprised by the negative comments i've just read as I'm about to post our experience here. Our group of 8 were seated almost immediately outside where wwe could watch the street scene. Staff was attentive and brought menus and a free marguarita for each member of our group. For being free the marguaritas were very good. The food ordered... More

Although the food is good here, depending on your waiter, a tip may be added to the bill. The waiter we had added a tip, did not mention this fact. We would have left a bigger tip, but figured he had already put a tip on the bill, so that was all we were paying. We had to ask for... More
