Totally impromptu my girlfriend and I arrived very late just on a whim. I'm not going to write a long review. Just want to say the service, food, energy, and atmosphere were fantastic. Stuffed mussels were AMAZING! I'd go back once a week of I could.

Angelo's I personally think is the best to go to at night, when the street is lit up and alive. The food was cooked in a brick oven and tasted awesome--i really enjoyed my pizza. There was also two for one drinks, so I got two mojitos cheap. Also, Frederico was awesome and sat with us the whole time. Dude... More

My daughter and I were strolling down Hidalgo when it started raining. We jumped onto the wooden deck of Angelo and right away smelled the wood fire oven and knew we had to stay. Had a simple pizza with sausage, artichoke, mushrooms and tomatoes that was out of this world. Enjoyed people watching from a table right by the avenue... More

Dropped by for dinner at Angelo. We started with caipirinhas that were fantastic. Then the antipasto plate and the bread. I don't eat bread, but I eat their bread. We then had the grilled seafood platter with lobster tail. It is absolutely superb. Ask for Marianna, you will not be disappointed.

I had some of the best Gorgonzola pasta I've ever had anywhere here, the chef is a genius. The pizza was delicious and one or more family members ended up eating here almost every other night particularly the veggies as their choice was really good. There is also the option of eating inside the air conditioned art gallery area. Definitely... More

We walked by this place and loved the smell coming from the outdoor grill and Pizza oven so we decided to give it a try. We were seated in the air conditioned patio and loved it. Started off with an appetizer and then decided on the Flank Steak and Lobster for my husband. The Steak was cooked to perfection and... More

Family wanted pizza, walking down the street, kids spotted wood fired oven....so we stopped. As we were seated I watched a huge steak cooked over open fire, and quickly changed from pizza to steak mode. Being from Texas, eating steak away from home is a challenge, Angelo's met the challenge. Steak and pizza were both delicious. Although steak was pricey,... More

Great place with very helpful staff. Even moved table and a fan outside! inner air con too. Limited wine list though. Excellent pizzas though jalapeños hot. Staff are great.
