We were advised they serve the best Margarita on the Island

Whilst on Holiday at the Excellence in Playa Mujeres we took a trip over on the ferry to Isla Mujeres a very beautiful Island indeed! Our Concierge at Excellence tipped us the wink that we should pop into "The Joint" and try there Margarita on the rocks indicating it's one of the best Margaritas on... read more

This restaurant is perfect for a cool place to stop. It is surrounded by palm trees and has a great and fun atmosphere. They are known for their legendary mojitos which are incredible. The chili tequlia shot is also interesting! The bartender is very friendly and fun. This is just a fun place all around!

Don't miss the Piña colada and Mojito of The joint!! There were probably the best cocktails we have ever had! The bar tender was a pro :) we have returned the joint 3 times during a 3 day visit!

I don't like mojitos...like, I really DON'T like mojitos. So, it took about 6 visits here until I actually ordered one...and LORD, this is not your normal mojito!!! It is so delish and refreshing!!! After reading all the ingredients that went into this, I kind of felt like I was drinking a healthy adult beverage! I now make it a... More

What a great place to hang out! The food & drinks were wonderful. The wait staff and music were fun.

We stopped at The Joint after snorkeling one afternoon at the end of June. The drinks were fairly priced and quite large. We had the guacamole and fried plantains - the latter was delicious! The atmosphere was chill almost to the point of indifference. This is not the place for quick anything - strictly island time! I'm giving The Joint... More

Watered down drinks, overpriced menu and crappy service were only the beginning of our experience at this place. There were 5 in our group and two of them got sick after eating here. Avoid the ceviche as it is not fresh, Joint's jerk chicken was a joke. No breeze and terrible view are another Eason to skip it.

To be honest, I have no idea how we found this place. But from the second we got there until we stumbled out, it was the best time we had on the island. It's really not even a building, just a patio with a bar. The bar tender spoke very broken English, but that was not at all a problem.... More

Seriously why do people complain about everything. If you want everything on your time and in a "NY minute," then stay the f*** home. You're on vacation. Loosen up have a cold beer, mojito, margarita or a fresh lemonade if you want to go alcohol free. The food goes along with what you would expect on a tropical island....wings, burgers,... More

Love the 50 peso breakfast, but do wish it was just a little bit bigger, but it was mostly a satisfying meal. They do have music going but don't sit to close to the speakers or you can't talk across the table. Great meal for a great price
