Lovely little stop idd

Hubby and I stopped here while cruising the island on our golf cart. Lovely little place. We were the only ones there. We just grabbed a couple of beers in the shade and chilled. Bar tender friendly and the beers cheap.... Give it a go!

I stayed just down the road near Punta Sur, and went here nearly everyday. The drinks, specifically the mojitos, were incredible, and the bartenders, Michel and Victor, were the friendliest, nicest guys. Always helpful and entertaining. The live music was fantastic, and the atmosphere is laid back. I definitely recommend checking it out.

We made a quick stop here during our golf cart tour of Isla Mujeres. Wow, what a great find! Relaxed, reggae atmosphere....a live band was setting up while I was here, tho we didn't get to see them perform. I enjoyed their signature drink, The frozen mojito, which was basically a slushy mojito with blended in mint. Cool and refreshing... More

Truly a road side bar, playing reggae music, serving up food & drinks! Did not try food, but enjoyed a regular margarita in a nice large glass, which was refreshingly good. Worth a stop if you're crushing the island w/ your golf cart.

I wish we had gone to the joint earlier in our trip as I would like to have returned a few times. Lots of variety on the menu, all reasonably priced. Tasty chicken wings! Cold beer, French fries....jerk chicken! The jerk could have been a bit more spicy to match actual Jamaican but the guacamole made up for it in... More

We just stopped here for a beer and nachos while touring the island. I wish we had more time to sit and enjoy. The music was fantastic, the relaxed atmosphere.

A highly recommended roadside eatery, with the fair of Jamaica. Jerk chicken to die for, great fish Tacos and 2.25 beers. Reggae music in the background and a friendly Shepard named Marley...Really... Could have sat there all day...

We ate here several times. Kept coming back for the enchiladas and fish tacos. Kids went on there own and guy wings. Victor was really friendly and steered us to best food on menu. Beers were nice and cold. Fun dog there too.

We stopped by the Joint for a relaxing drink to cool off after visiting Punta Sur. The Joint is very conveniently located to the north a few minutes ( on golf cart) from the point. They were fairly busy so we didn't get to experience the friendly staff. Our server barely spoke to us. And, we hoped for some music... More

We stayed across from The Joint and hit it more than once! The margaritas are some of the best on the island! We went for breakfast one morning (they open at 10am so don't be in a hurry) and it was great with eggs, bacon toast and of course a morning 'rita! As with most places on Isla, service is... More
