Loved this Place

Went to The Joint originally for its 4 beer and guacamole. While we were at it that original time, we ordered salsa. Everything was great. We returned for burritos later, and again, it was great. Breakfast next morning. For 50 pesos. Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, potatoes - yum! If you are in the... read more

Stopped there bar hoping on a Sunday, a simple vodka orange was 80 pesos, and for dollars they offer a10:1 exchange rate, at the moment 15:1 which puts the drinks at $10 - ridiculous considering the lousy service and a sickening smell of sewers. They also expect a 15% tip, and if ur lucky and come with a group of... More

Spent some time here while visiting the island with friends. Drinks and service were good and the band was great fun. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a fun afternoon of music and some welcome shade on a hot day

We love spending lazy afternoons up at The Joint! The menu has a bunch of great options including breakfasts all for really reasonable prices. Live music from 1-4 daily makes it a great place to hang out and have a few beers with friends or family. Penny, Ryan and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make... More

Local told us to make sure and go, glad we listened. Was great stop after a day of tooling around on golf cart. Though the others who were with us had great food, my chicken enchilada with someones mamas verde sauce was out of this world!!

Music was WAY too loud. Food was average, although this may be where the stomach issues began (but I can't be certain). The frozen mojitos were quite delicious, so that was a plus.

Hubby and I stopped here while cruising the island on our golf cart. Lovely little place. We were the only ones there. We just grabbed a couple of beers in the shade and chilled. Bar tender friendly and the beers cheap.... Give it a go!

I stayed just down the road near Punta Sur, and went here nearly everyday. The drinks, specifically the mojitos, were incredible, and the bartenders, Michel and Victor, were the friendliest, nicest guys. Always helpful and entertaining. The live music was fantastic, and the atmosphere is laid back. I definitely recommend checking it out.

We made a quick stop here during our golf cart tour of Isla Mujeres. Wow, what a great find! Relaxed, reggae atmosphere....a live band was setting up while I was here, tho we didn't get to see them perform. I enjoyed their signature drink, The frozen mojito, which was basically a slushy mojito with blended in mint. Cool and refreshing... More

Truly a road side bar, playing reggae music, serving up food & drinks! Did not try food, but enjoyed a regular margarita in a nice large glass, which was refreshingly good. Worth a stop if you're crushing the island w/ your golf cart.
