Great Omelets!

This is a truly local and authentic Mexican restaurant where we enjoyed breakfast several times during our stay. The omelets and other breakfasts are huge and must be the cheapest on the entire island! Tell your friends before they raise their prices!!

First off, I'll get the negatives out of the way that many people have mentioned here: loud owner, bad bathroom. I didn't go there for either. The owner is a bit boisterous, yes. He seems proud of his business and joked a lot with us once he saw that we were not easily offended. If the prospect of an authentic,... More

We saw this on the map and it was a little hard to find, and we were expecting a view of the ocean. It's actually a little house facing the street and there are a couple of tables out in the sun by the street, or you're sitting inside. It was very hot inside and you're on plastic chairs. But... Chiles Rellenos are outstanding as is the Sopa de Frijoles. Side of beans with your meal is actual beans not bean water like every other place on Isla. Owner is a character, he's playing the part of a gruff, bombastic restaurnat owner. I found him very humourous. We will be back. You may as well just order the guacamole as... More

Our last day of our trip we decided to try this place based on reviews and the idea of drinking from the clay glasses. It was pretty good. Not the best on the island by far. The chili relleno was good but not the best. I ordered the lobster and for 300 pesos I was pretty disappointed. It was chewy... More

I agree with Tracyd54. The owner is rude and service is poor. This used to be one of my favorites until we were over charged. I don't like the fact he charges 40mp for a beer he pours into your glass from a already opened half empty 40oz (gross).

This used to be one of my favorites but we won't be back! The quality of the food is nowhere near where it was before and the prices are much higher. I thought we may have just picked poor choices so we went back a second time and it was no better. Making matters worse was the temperamental owner/server. On... More

Off the beaten path near the church in the town center. Everything was good. Like everyone else has said the beer is served n cool ceramic mugs and icy cold. The best thing we had were the special shrimp enchiladas. We did order the bean soup and I was not as impressed as others but it may be all the... More

I wanted ceviche but couldn't afford. Prices a little high but quality well worth it. Great interior decorations and loved the black bean sopa.

I have been to many restaurants on the island. This one is truly the best. Best food and amazing staff! A must must in my opinion!
