We really enjoyed the food here. The beer was served in a ice cold glass and there was a good range of Mexican dishes. We both had the chilli stuffed with beef. This came with rice, beans, onions and salsas. I would be very happy to eat here again.

Another very authentic Mexican eating experience. Atmosphere great and the food was fabulous also. The poblano peppers are to die for. Best we have ever had!!

We ordered ceviche, garlic fish, fried fish and fish wrapped in foil. The ceviche and garlic fish were excellent, however, the other 2 items were okay. The limeades were fresh squeezed and were excellent as well. They were served in big glasses so you won't leave thirsty.

This place looks like a hole in the wall and the prices are a bit high to be as off as it was but the food makes it all WORTH IT! The ceviches in this place is out if this world, the best ceviches I've had in the Caribbean Mexico!!! The guacamole and pico de gallo is amazing and so... More

We showed up with 11 people and no one else in the restaurant. A guy who looks like he's out of a bad mexican western movie will take your order. Be as polite and slow with your English as possible. He is not a professional waiter and his wife and daughters cook in the kitchen, at least I think that... More

We came to this restaurant b/c it was recommended in lonely planet. The ambience made it feel like it was a hole in the wall place while the price was not. They offered us chips and salsa and charged us for it without telling us it would was not free. Felt a bit cheated.

We just left La Lomita and I have to say that the guacamole was the best we have eaten in 10 days and the enchiladas were fabulous! My husband had a pork burrito and said it had good flavor, but I know he was jealous! The serve Sol in an ice cold cup that they take from the freezer. It... More

Joined new friends at this little restaurant. All food was freshly prepared. Chile relleno with shrimp was delicious. Fresh quacamole, pico de gallo with chips and a yummy black bean soup. Tasty Margaritas! We sat at tables outside, literally at the street! Not sure how new this place is, but it was our first visit. We went twice for dinner... More

We braved the heat, plopped ourselves in front of a fan and ordered our lunches. No one else was there. Just us. In for a late lunch. Fresh, bright, good.

On the bright side, I had the best fresh fish ceviche. Overall the food was good and prices were fair. The coconut shrimp could do with about 75% less breading, it was coconut overload in my opinion. The negative was the fact that from getting the first dish to the table till we were all server was well over 15... More
