Tiny local spot

A friend had the mole and said it was (almost) as good as his mother's. (Couldn't admit to better, right?) I had the namesake Pork Poc Chuc. Very tasty. And while certainly in a tourist area, felt much less touristy than the other spots.

We didn't have a great experience here, the language barrier caused multiple dishes, even ones we didn't order. Alcohol in drinks we asked for no alcohol. The food was good though but we won't be back

I lived in Mexico in college for a bit and have missed authentic Mexican that you can't really find in the US. It's not to be found in Cancun either since it caters to tourists. We did a day trip to Isla Mujeres and were thrilled to have found this spot. Don't miss it!

Right in the heart of downtown (N Beach end) we stumbled on Poc Chuc when we were looking for some tacos or something easy that was NOT on the main strip. Tortas for $25 pesos - pretty sure I ate two and some tacos. We had nachos, fish tacos, chx tacos, beers and water for like $4-5 per person. We... More

I had breakfast there this morning and I will come back often. It was 70 pesos for a meal of Mexican style scrambled eggs win beans, fresh orange juice and a fruit salad.

This is my 10th trip to Mexico. I am a big time foodie and always searchout local and street food. Every thing we had was really good. From huevos divociados to the sopes, poc chuk and margaritas, I was never let down. It is one of those places where you just cant go wrong with anything on the menu. The... More

Pac Chuc never disappoints. Their chicken enchiladas with mole is a great dish that keeps me returning. The service is friendly and very welcoming.

Pok Chuc has always been one of our favorites for many years, but it was very disappointing on June 16 for a late lunch. The daily special fried fish filet was sliced so very thin, about 1/8 inch, that it had no taste. My wife's chilaquilaes con pollo, previuosly always great, were served cold with only tiny amounts of chicken... More
