Asked for a cappucino got mostly milk, when we asked to make it a bit stronger we were told we can buy another espresso if we want. For 32 pesos a cup I think they could have been more helpfull. The nachos were good, as things with melted cheese on them tend to be.

Thank you for your very important feedback! I am very sorry our waiter did´t served you more coffee! I asume he does´t want to spend to much of our wonderful coffee, shade grown at Veracruz mountains! Please come back so we can invite you free drinks! More

bland food, overpriced. Nice sunset view though. Many other places to go with better prices and better tasting food.

We really thank you for taking your time to give us your feedback! We also thank you for promoting our beautiful location! I already explained your husband about the cheap basa fish imported from China, that allows you to reduce costs by 5 times! More

Thank you for your feedback! I also thank you for saying you had 6 large prawns, with mango chutney, a real fish fillet (now most of the restaurants offer "basa" fish from china that costs 5 times less than our fresh island fish), with a nice piña colada, all for just US$40. This on a prime location on one of... More

We had a nice dinner and this pleasant beach bar/restaurant. At night it’s prettily floodlight by the neighbouring hotel pool and hearing the roar of the waves hitting the beach is lovely. The food was good and very, very filling. I ordered a Margarita and they brought me two without asking as it was happy hour :)

My wife and I had a great dinner on the beach at Sunset Grill. The Lobster Thermador was incredible. great wine and incredible scenery. Eloy our waiter did an excellent job and the owners Felipe and Margarita were very accommodating. We also spent a few of our days on the island relaxing on their lounge chairs while eating and drinking.... More

My husband and I sat near the beach and had a beautiful sunset to view while listening to a man play a saxophone of romantic music. I had the coconut shrimp which was the best I had ever tried and a must to eat!!! The shrimp were huge. My husband had a seafood combo plate that even included octopus. Everything... More

My wife and I were on Isla Muerez for our honeymoon, and we ate at the sunset grill a few times. Nice drink selection and decent food. The staff were very nice and prompt with our orders. But where this restaurant really shines is with its private sunset table service. This service is not very well advertised on their menu,... More

I contacted Felipe many months before visiting Mexico to arrange a nice beach dinner where I was hoping to propose to my now fiance. He suggested romance well beyond my ability and provided a truly special day. We were picked up by Felipe and taken to his sailboat ‘Manumut’, from there we sailed with the boat captain George and Felipe... More

My friend and I stumbled across this restaurant by accident wandering around on the Isla Mujeres. It offered welcome shade under a thatched roof - but was open on all sides to enjoy the views straight out onto the beach and sea. We were very well attended to. Our food was freshly cooked and was very enjoyable and came as... More
