Group of five for supper.

A group of five had supper here on a Tuesday evening. It was a busy evening and all ordered something different. One a fish kabob, two other fish dishes and burritos. It was really the clean plate club at our table. They were a bit understaffed but, were probably not expecting the larger groups... read more

We stopped by one night last Nov. after walking up and down Hidalgo trying to decide on a place to eat we decided to give it a try. I ordered the enchilada suizas. The sauce was the best I'd had. We ended up coming back another night and didn't even think about ordering anything else. We are heading back in... More

We had a delicious dinner there tonight. It is fairly typical Mexican cusine. The sweet, attentive service really stood out. I have some doetary restrictions and he came back to let me know that what I ordered actually does have gluten (he originally thought it didn't). This saved me from feeling sick for the next few days, which is much... More

We arrived on Isla after 8 pm, made our way through the last night of Carnival and found our hotel (the wonderful Marcianito). We'd had a quick breakfast in Vancouver but didn't eat at our short stopover in Minneapolis (I know, we were travelling in the wrong direction) and so we realized as we unpacked that we hadn't had much... The food is great but I especially love the charm and friendliness of the staff. We got to know a few of them as we kept returning here for breakfast morning after morning. Ernesto, Idaul, Sergio, I can't remember all the names but they are so friendly and easy to talk to, and ready to give any advice on your... More

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Amigos. It's a small restaurant with outdoor seating, a large menu with a nice variety of choices. The lime soup we had was very good and the tacos and quesadilla we shared were wonderful as well. Great service and very good mojitos. Definitely a good choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Pretty typical of the Hidalgo Ave restaurants. Definitely nothing to write home about. Mexican food, average quality.

We have been going to Isla Mujeres for years, and always have at least one meal at Amigos. The food is excellent. I had the Swiss Chicken enchiladas, which were great. Ernesto and all the staff are among the nicest people you will meet. It's a busy place, but I have never had to wait long for a table.

Amazing, authentic Mexican food. We had a group of 12. They accommodated us wonderfully outside. We all enjoyed the food immensely. Wonderful service. Very friendly! Will visit next time we are in Isla.

Go here!! We ate here 2x on our trip to Isla. Both meals were excellent, but the service was amazing. We ate Chicken Mole Enchiladas, fish with Chaya, and Arrachera Special. All were top notch. Go here!
