We noticed right off the place was full of local residents there to hang out and drink coffee. Always a clue. We sat outside on Hildago St., received excellent service and unlimited strong coffee. I cannot remember specifically the dishes ordered but I do remember them being extremely Mexcian and local. It was not your bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. Being... More

Delicious breakfast of jugo de naranga, el Popeyes homelet and waffles con fruta. Fresh, great portions and really fantastic service. The juice is freshly squeezed, and the food is made to order. I highly recommend this place, not to be missed while in Isla!.

Discovered this place through a suggestion on the Map Chick guide for restaurants. Glad we ate here. Food was delicious! We stopped in at this restaurant on Hildago street as there were lots of people eating here. This was our stand out meal whilst on Isla. The staff were the friendliest of all people we encountered whilst on Isla. I can string a few words together in Spanish but our waiters were very good with English and went to the... More

While touring around the Market in Isla Mujeres we decided to try Restaurant Amigos (recommended by another restaurant owner down the street) for some authentic Mexican cuisine. It was delicious. Ownerd by brothers, the service was friendly and the food was superb. The salsa's were spicy and delicious! Try the Chile Relleno, stuffed with shrimp & cheese.....Yummy! They went out... More

My Husband had the fish fillet stuffed with shrimp, calamari and octopus covered with a tomato sauce and cook in foil - delicious! I had a mixed seafood grill also very yummy. We told the rest...
