Chill vibe, relaxed friendly service, good food.

We happened upon this place by pure accident while zipping around in our rented golf cart. Based purely on the cute look, we decided to give it a go. The waiters were very relaxed and friendly, exactly what one would expect in a beach style cafe. I ordered a seafood combo dish and it was... read more

Have a brunch here and then relax in the front street chairs. A bit pricy, but the food is good and the service warm and nice. Fast wifi.

I love coming here for breakfast or later at night for a coffee or dessert. It's so calming - they have a great atmosphere, chill music, free wi-fi. Great place to grab a bite and hang out for a while.

Walked in and briefly looked around. Server walked up and casually told us where to sit without any smile or courteous manner. Serving us appeared as a burden. Advertises as a cafe but coffee was harsh, food was unappetizing and service was shallow.

Our first day on the island and we parked our golf cart near the cafe. We decided to try it because we liked the open air and casual feeling. Teens found everything from breakfast burritos to crepes made with Nutella and bananas. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent - we went back twice more.

I was visiting isla mujeres for the weekend. we came across this "café" by a friend's recommendation. it has a pleasing atmosphere and service. the front of the restaurant is lined with cozy couches to sit and people watch. we enjoyed a glass of vino tinto at the café and we returned for a lovely breakfast and I very must... Breakfast was not flavorful as a Mexican breakfast should be. Felt like it catered more to tourists than I would have hoped. Would skip it on next trip. Wasn't bad, just uneventful for my mouth!!

This is an interesting looking restaurant. We were drawn in because they advertised shakshuka, one of my wife's favorites. However the food itself was terrible. I guess we should have noticed that everyone eating there look to be stoned. So they probably do not have the most discerning palates. I had one of their "specialties", the mixed grill. This consisted... More

We love Mogagua. It's such a great place to people watch in the evening and take advantage of the free wifi. Everything we've had there is good, and we've sampled a lot of the breakfast menu. We often stop by in the morning for coffee to go, and then return in the evening for dessert coffee and to share a... More

We had a great time at Cafe Mogagua. Great service, nice and clean place, great food options. We really enjoyed our breakfasts there (we went a few times and always had a nice experience).
