Surprisingly good!!

While visiting Isla Mujeres, we were hungry but didn't want to eat at the hotel we were staying at (Privilege), so we decided to try the place across from it. We weren't expecting too much, but I ordered the fish tacos, which were very good. They served 3 nice size tacos that were very filling, and... read more

Jax is a nice lunch destination right on the beach. It is very north american, but there is nothing wrong with that! Unless you order a bottle of beer, the drinks are a bit small. A great place to sit back and watch the game!

"Texas"-like restaurant. Had sports on TV in English every night (husband enjoyed that) so we were able to watch the hockey playoffs. EXCELLENT burgers and honestly, the corn dogs were super good!! I wasn't feeling hungry the first night and ordered a corn dog from the kids baskets and loved it! It really was like a state fair corn dog.... More

We decided to stop in for a quick bite and a drink. Great prices, amazing catch of the day and wonderful fish tacos. Try the yellow bird!

We went there for lunch before we headed to the North Beach. We could see the ocean and the beach whike we waited for the food. The fish and chips and fish tacos are delicious. We spent about 1500 pesos for 8 adults and 3 kids (including drinks and food), so we were happy.

We had a great experience last night with our dinner. Excellent steak and fajitas, and a delicious Caesar salad. The staff was very attentive, and even had a nice visit with the owner. Great place to stop and watch the sunset from the top deck and even listen to some fun music.

We went there 3 times during our week in Isla. The first time, we decided to stop there for lunch and let me say, once we tasted the Jax special fish tacos, they stayed on our mind all week long! Those things put every other tacos out there to shame!! And they also have a long list of martinis, some... More

We end up in Isla Mujeres every year for the NCAA basketball tournament. And we always end up at Jax! Best TVs, coldest beer, and great food! Great place to watch the games and you can always count on everyone to be wearing their team colors and tshirts! A fun way to meet new friends!
