We stopped in on the way to the ferry to check out this bar as we had heard of it on TA and Isla Mujeres facebook and were plesantly surprised. Two large drinks (rum/coke and margarita) that were literally the size of our heads... and at a decent price. Great Fish tacos as well, best we had on the island!

We were a group of 20 who went to Bally Hoo for our last supper on the island before heading home to Canada. Our only regret was that we didn't go here earlier in the trip! Arriving at 5:00pm for supper was perfect timing as we got to have some drinks and watch the sunset while waiting for supper. The... More

We recently spent 4 days on Isla Mujeres. Our "luggage guy" (carted our bags and walked with us through town) mentioned this place for great fish - and boy, was he right! We went on our first night and returned on our last. Loved the waiters - Gypsy and Alex. Great food, great prices and right on the water!

This is where I had cocktails when I got off the fishing boat. The bartender was nice and we had a lot of fun here.

Another favourite place of our to celebrate sundown with a glass of wine. The Fish & Chips are excellent, and they have many more yummy food items on the menu. Bally Hoo is a little hut located on the beach not far from where the ferry's come in. There are some docs that extend beyond Bally Hoo making a beautiful backdrop. My husband and I both had the fish tacos and they live up to the hype! If you like fried fish, then you must stop here. Very reaonable prices... More

They had great fish and chips and ceviche, get a Pinada (pina colada without liquor) and kick back. The view of the docks and the boats is relaxing... catch a shot of a pelican or the fishes in the VERY clear water. Service was amazing. Price was great.

The setting is awesome, the food was great, the margaritas are huge, and the staff very friendly. I had the famous fish tacos (which lived up to the billing, and were much bigger than I anticipated) and my wife had the shrimp tacos. We both really enjoyed our meals but the star of the show was the conch ceviche. I'll... More

Awesome margarita and HUGE......enough said. Good food and friendly staff; especially Alex (server/bartender). On pier so good place to people-watch and meet people.
