This was the second trip to Isla and second time at Bally Hoo. Hubby loves this place for the fish tacos. We've had both the grilled and fried. Throw caution to the wind and get the fried version. The salsas they served with them were good and I had a divine mango margarita while the hubby had a regular version.... More

Ok, this place is behind a gas station, and you actually have to use the restroom in the gas station, but don't let that deter you. A great bar, with tables on the water, and cool vibe. We had the surf and turf for two and it was delicious! Service was prompt and friendly, and the wine was very good.... More

This is my second visit and just confirmed the great review of the first. Great food, perfect atmosphere and great location. We had shrimp tacos, steak tacos, 2 beers and 1 margarita for 190 pesos. Delicious!

We went there daily all 5 days we stayed on the Island. The GRILLED fish tacos are so good. The margaritas are STRONG. We love visiting this place.

The location makes this place a must do must see and must be. Food: the tuna steak was perfect, the cheeseburger mediocre, but fair. Waiter was nice and funny. Good spot. We had a good time.

Bally Hoo is an adorable restaurant that is on a pier. One of the most interesting things was watching the boats come in to get gas at the fuel station. We saw a small fishing boat feeding small fish to the birds. This provided a lot of entertainment as the larger birds wouldn't let the smaller birds have anything. The... More

We stopped here on a whim as we wanted to eat on the beach and this restaurant looked good. Lovely food, good service, decent prices. HUGE margaritas! We had the fish tacos and the chicken quesadillas and they were lovely. Restaurant is on a wharf on the beach just down from the ferry.

My wife loves the grouper. Myself I prefer the hamburgers (I'm not a fish eater). We eat there often. Great view of Cancun and the Boats docked at the marina. A good spot to watch the sunset over Cancun.

We've been eating at Bally Hoo for years and will continue do do so. Great atmosphere, food and service. Our favs are the fish tacos, fish burgers, fish and chips ( notice a trend?) and the guacamole. You'll love it!

Located on a pier not too far from the ferry landing in Punte Norte, we went for dinner so we could catch the sunset. We were NOT disappointed. Being out over the water and able to see the fishing boats lined up on the beach in front of an amazing sunset created a wonderful memory. The service was excellent and... More
