The fish tacos have become an institution

The first place we stop for a meal whenever we come to Isla Mujeres is the Bally Hoo. The fish tacos are excellent and so are the fish and chips. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a great place to watch the sun set while enjoying a drink and some appetizers.

Great fish tacos and watched fisherman gut their fresh catch that day. The service was good. It's tucked away and isn't visible on the main drag by the ferry. It's easy to miss. As for title, this place was full of Americans. I'm not hating on Americans This just isn't a Mexican restaurant, it's an American restaurant with several rich... More

We visited Bally Hoo two times during our two day stay on Isla Mujeres. The atmosphere, service, food and drinks can not be beat! Try the fish tacos! Grouper comes in from the boat to the kitchen ot your table. Amazing! Will be back in December!

Food was delicious! We enjoyed some ceviche and a garlic fish fillet. Both were really tasty and I enjoyed both more here than at other places. The view by the ocean was great with entertainment from some birds. I think we will have to go back, as that visit we weren't super hungry.

a great place to eat and watch the boats. Fresh seafood and good service. One of our favorite places on the island.

Bally Hoo is always our first stop when we get off the ferry and our last when we are leaving the island. Wonderful margaritas, friendly faces and killer views. Fish tacos are great and they do a pretty darn good breakfast too. Can't wait to go back!

Do yourself a favor and drag your bags over here and eat as soon as your off the ferry. Or to pickup your golf cart. The fried fish tacos taste even better when its your vacation meal. The location is great, and the mango margs are as well.

Just in for a snack and drink. Great sunset views. They were not particularly busy this night. The service was excellent. Their guacamole was good.

Stopped by this morning for a refreshing breakfast with great food at a great place. They are a little slow but the wait is worth the taste and flavors. With a great view of the water and the boats coming in, makes for plenty of viewing time to enjoy.
