On our first night in Cozumel we were at a corner looking for a restaurant when the owner of Chocolateria asked if she could assist us. We asked her for a recommendation and after review the option within a block she suggested the New Especias Resturante. Three in the party had King Fish and one had salmon. The food was... More

Really enjoyed our dinner. First floor bar, second story open air with a beautiful view from the balcony. Complimentary peach wine was delicious as was the bruschetta. All three entrees were off the daily specials, we're prepared fresh, cooked perfectly and tasted great. We had the fettuccine carbonara, lion fish with tomatoes and pesto, and chicken saltimbocca. The fresh lemonade... More

Last week we went to one of our favorite Cozumel restaurants, Especias. The menu has changed and apparently the owner as well. We were promptly seated and within moments were brought locally made peach wine and bruschetta (we hadn't asked for either.) Our servers were very friendly and answered all of our questions, offering menus and daily specials. Our entrees... More

We walked by this restaurant as it said it was a combination wine bar/restaurant. From our standards, it really did not qualify as a wine bar, meaning you can order flights or there is a selection of wine by the glass. What it really meant was that they offered a small selection of wines, though many of them were Italian,... More

I went to this restaurant late last summer and have been meaning to write a review since then. But I think the fact that I've been thinking about this restaurant and the meal I had there for almost a year shows how good it is! Great Italian food but prepared nicely with local ingredients, especially the lion fish! Kind chef... More

My husband and I didn't expect much when we came after we went to guidos earlier in the week. We both love Italian and we're very suprised! Amazing! I had the gnocchi which was homemade and the sauce was so fresh and light! Very romantic if you get to sit on the upstairs patio.

We had the lobster and the lion fish gnocchi. Both were delicious and the tiramisu was to die for. The owner is from Rome and he is also the chef and is very nice and came and chatted with us. The staff was very knowledgeable and was always there when you needed anything. I would definitely come back here next... More

I read the reviews on this restaurant and they were 100% accurate!! Save room for the tiramisu because it was decadent! Tammy K.

The staff was very friendly and explained the different dishes on the menu. We ordered two italian pasta dishes - they both were out of this world! Ask for a taste of lion fish and that was the surprise of the evening! It was great tasting - we have to go back and I will order the lion fish for... More

We had dinner on the balcony and were made to feel like family by the waitstaff. The prices are right and the food was fantastic! Homemade pasta and deserts made in-house from family recipes. The chef came out from the kitchen to talk to us about our dinner. Go there!
