When the hubby and i went, we were the only ones there... I ordered a torta and he ordered some tacos....being Mexican, we were expecting to eat our authentic food that we miss so much.... I ordered an "agua de Jamaica" and i asked the waiter if it was boiled from the "flower" the way that it's supposed to be... More

Thank you for visiting our restaurant on your trip, and taking time out of your busy schedule to try our food. I wanted to respond to your comment about the jamaica and about being a tourist restaurant. We are family-owned and run on a very tight budget, and promise high, quality fresh food daily. We offer very limited selections of... More

My hubby and I found La Casita del Indio, we had lunch there and came back 3 more times. For breakfast we ate lobster omelet and it was amazing. We loved the flavor of the food and the service is really good. We really recommend people in stopping there and eating great food for great prices!!

During a recent stay in Cozumel we ate here twice. The first visit was to our surprise exceptional! Lobster tacos were out of this world good and chicken nachos were the best we ever had anywhere. Service was great too. So, we returned a few days later eager to try some other dishes and looking forward to a great meal.... More

I have visited Cozumel several times over the last couple of years. I always have several meals at La Casita de Indio. My personal favorite is the seafood, you cannot go wrong with this selection. The Mexican food is also excellent, guacamole is some of the best I have ever tasted. Portions are large and the prices are very reasonable,... More

I ate at La Casita de Indio twice in my most recent trip to Cozumel, and I'd certainly make it a regular destination if I had stayed longer. Although it's very near the center of town, it feels laid back and comfortable, and the food was excellent. I'm not fancy -- the digs are on the basic side -- but... More

Good eats here! Away from the very touristy spots and service is friendly and fast. It's best to sit outside to enjoy the ambience as inside is very busy.

What an amazing experience. If it weren't for our friends that live on the island, we would have never stopped at La Casita de Indio. We are very glad that we did! A warm and friendly atmosphere, and Indio is always ready with a handshake and a smile. The food is absolutely incredible and the prices are very affordable. Tip:... More

My girl friend brought me there,.. and I was very pleased :) She took the Chimichanga and I took the Famous Indio. Let me tell you, our dinner was awesome. The food was tasty and we felt like being at home. We will definately go back... it's cool, relax and local.

The owner, Indio, opened the restaurant for us early on Sunday morning so that my girlfriend's daughters could make their flight on time. He prepared lobster omelets with basil aioli sauce that was the best I have ever tasted!
