Terrific food for a cheap price, Will cook fish from your fishing trips

Stopped by for lunch one day and after consulting with the chef/owner we ordered a mixed lobster/shrimp/fish dish for 5 people. The dish was served over rice family style. The food was amazing and only about $10 per person with beers! The next day we were back with Mahi Mahi fish fillets from... read more

We went to this street side restaurant an the recommendation of one of our hotel staff. We sat outside and ordered the "lobster burrito" We were quickly served salsa and chips. When our food arrived, it was huge and in one bite we said that this was the BEST burrito that we have ever eaten, one of the top 5... More

Excellent place for authentic Mexican food at a very good price...very flavorful, very friendly staff, small place with no ac so we just sat outside...we always get the daily special and we leave satisfied for under $6 USD. Thats our little spot on our visits to Cozumel

If you or your family are looking for balloons and shots ,expensive photos and food cooked like the Mexican joint back home, You will not like this place.. This is where the locals go . We found this place a few years back. They had just opened . Just two blocks up from the Main Street . It's family owned... More

We loved this place: our taxi driver took us to a highly overpriced restaurant that caters to cruise ship victims, so we walked up the road a few blocks and found this great place. Authentic, affordable, and the friendliest family.

We went to this great little place back in November of 2014. We were looking for a place that was authentic and not commercial like some of the restaurants on the main streets. Im glad we found this place. In fact we were not looking for this specific place but im glad we bumped right into it. Some of the... More

First ate at Indio's in 2013 and always had a great time and a wonderful meal. Indio and his family made all our visits most enjoyable. We spent most of this winter in Cozumel and again ate most of our meals at Indio's. It was just like we remembered. Really good food at a really good price. Had lots of... More

One day during a recent visit, I ate fish filet for all three meals. I also had pancakes in the morning a few times.

Other guests in our hotel recommended this tiny, family run place on a side street only a block and a half in from the main road along the Gulf. The seafood was absolutely delicious and very reasonable. One of the very best meals we had. Not fancy--a few tables outside, but the family did everything to please. Delightful people.
