The Thirsty Cougar is right on the waterfront in beautiful downtown Cozumel Mexico. This is the second venture from the creators of Wet Wendy's Margarita House, only we kept everyone's favorite creations and added an unbeatable view and smaller format. If you're down for a week or just a day, you can't beat our kitchen or bar to deliver just what you need! We hope to see you soon, Jazmine, Niko, Leka, Carlos, Klara and Chad.

So the sign at the "Thirsty Cougar" says "Boozery". Well they do have the BEST frozen drinks on the island but I think a lot of peeps don't know how great the food is! Don't let the "Bar" image fool you. STOP AND EAT. Niko and Peter will take great care of you. Oh and did I mention they will... More

Always our first stop after landing and checking into our house. They serve good food and the service is top notch. Tried their veggie burger for the first time. It is different but very good. Definitely worth repeating.

I love this place, it's the best spot to people watch and has amazing drinks ! I personally love the pink panthers sooo yummy. We would walk into town before sunset and Peter would always have our table waiting. The staff here is friendly and fun but Peter is our favorite waiter. The food and snacks are very tasty as... We were just walking around the town and we wanted to stop here for a drink and snack here. To tell the truth i didn't expect too much from the food as it looks more like a bar for drinks, however i was positively surprised. I ordered the catch of the day and my boyfriend got chicken wings; they were... More

The Thirsty Cougar has the best, fresh ceviche I have ever eaten. I stopped in for beers and a bite to eat after a day of scuba diving. Had seen the good reviews of Thirsty Cougar in tripadvisor, and it was at a convenient location downtown. Started with beers and the mixed shrimp & fish ceviche, then once the band... More

Our family stopped for a quick lunch at the Thirsty Cougar in Cozumel. We found a table right on the corner of the street to enjoy all of the sights and sounds of the city. We enjoyed a seemingly authentic Mexican lunch with all the standard fare. We found the staff very playful and pleasant. It was an enjoyable introduction... More

We were coming back from catching the last ferry from Playa Del Carmen & were hungry. Stopped here & had a couple of huge burritos along with a couple of huge margaritas. Good food, nice people. Great drinks. I was impressed. After eating the huge burrito and getting over the brain freeze of that huge margarita, I felt great.... I... More

For 6 years we have been patrons every year of the hotel across the street from the Thirsty Cougar; the Suites Bahia. Unfortunately, this year "jumps the shark". In the past we have actually invited friends to meet us at the Thirsty Cougar; however, that will NEVER happen again. Apparently, there may be a new American owner who cares about... More

We stopped here on the way back to the ferry. Loved our food and service! Virgin margaritas were massive and overflowing and delish especially on such a hot day.
