Frozen Deliciousness!

Can't think of a much better place along the main strip to people watch, have a giant margarita and a bite to eat. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but the portions are very large, so you get your money's worth. We visited twice during our recent visit. On the first visit, we both ordered food. I... read more

I found the Thirsty Cougar 2 years ago on a trip to Cozumel and it easily became my favorite place to eat and drink on the island. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. The food is very good but the margaritas are amazing! Peter was on vacation but the new bartender, Manuel, was just as friendly... More

Stopped in for drinks while shopping. AMAZING! I had a Pina Colada, and it was like a snow cone with alcohol! The glass was served on a plate to catch the overflow. Very tasty and refreshing on a hot day! Will definitely go back!

Everything about The Cougar is just thought through: The decoration of the bar, the live band Saturday night and the drinks. Don't miss this fantastic place when traveling Cozumel, it's definitely one of the best places in town.

Haven't eaten there, but their drinks are great. Try their banoffee frozen drink or just drink tequila straight.

Stopped in here twice during our five day stay and enjoyed sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartenders. The people employed at this establishment were all outgoing and friendly, the service was top notch and we enjoyed just hanging out for a bit. If you are looking for a place along the waterfront to have a drink, I... More

While walking down the street of Cozumel, my friend and I wanted to stop in and grab some lunch somewhere. All of the street vendors were yelling at us to come in, but then we saw that no one was forcing us to come to The Thirsty Cougar so we went in there. We were immediately greeted by a wonderful... This was our first stop after arriving in Cozumel. We have been coming here since 2012 and continue to enjoy the people, food and fabulous drinks. Everyone is always welcoming and very friendly. Definitely a must do when on the island!
