Description: The Thirsty Cougar is right on the waterfront in beautiful downtown Cozumel Mexico. This is the second venture from the creators of Wet Wendy's Margarita House, only we kept everyone's favorite creations and added an unbeatable view and smaller format. If you're down for a week or just a day, you can't beat our kitchen or bar to deliver just what you need! We hope to see you soon, Jazmine, Niko, Leka, Carlos, Klara and Chad.

A cute medium sized open air restaurant/bar. Conversion rate on the wall as they take US $ and pesos. We chose to sit at the bar and we Were Offered menus immediately and staff was eager to serve us. We chose the house margarita which turned out to be great! Lovely margarita glasses, probably locally made and painted. We ordered... More

The best staff I have ever chilled with, sorry they're my friends now so classy and the best people to talk to, I am sad that I have to leave the island but every night ends with thirsty cougar!

while recently in Cozumel for vacation we walked right up to The Thirsty Cougar & my wife wanted to try it for lunch. We were met by a gentleman originally from South Africa who cleaned off a sidewalk table that we could sit & enjoy the surroundings. After checking out the menu we ordered their Garlic & Coconut shrimp. It... More

I have a home on the island and were guests of friends at The Thirsty Cougar on Oct. 17. The service and food were good. A small band was playing on the sidewalk this evening, and they were ok but far too loud to have a conversation. And yes, cougar wanna-be's actually hang out here. Frozen Margaritas are their highlight... More

We were on the NCL Sun where the food was mediocre. I was dying for some authentic Mexican cuisine so we gave The Thirsty Cougar a try. Wonderful chicken rajas tacos, fish tacos and shrimp tacos! Fresh, flavorful, fast and fabulous!! I brought a delicious blackened chicken burrito with a mouth-watering mango salsa back to the ship with me which... More

Patio dining on the main road, great steak nachos and huge flavored margarittas. We go there every time we visit Cozumel.

Great place. Friendly staff, margaritas are second to none. Service was amazing. I guess all I can say is that since I've been there many times before is that they changed the burger patties which took the burgers from the best to the worst. Just my opinion.

Every trip to cozumel includes Pink Panthers at the cougar. This is the best people watching spot on the island. Was so sad that we missed our favorite waiter Peter this trip But he works hard and deserves a vacation too. Love the live music on saturdays !

Sometimes I'm skeptical about ceviche, but theirs is to die for! I only went once but others in our party went three times in a row. Prices are normal for cozumel but I like the outside bar seating.

While visiting Cozumel on a cruise port stop, we strolled into this great little place. We were looking for real Mexican food ( not Senior Frog, etc.) Just a quiet place for a Margarita and some nibbles. The Margarita was great! Piled at least 6 inches above the rim of the glass. 4.5 oz of alcohol, biggest Margarita I've ever... More
