Description: The Thirsty Cougar is right on the waterfront in beautiful downtown Cozumel Mexico. This is the second venture from the creators of Wet Wendy's Margarita House, only we kept everyone's favorite creations and added an unbeatable view and smaller format. If you're down for a week or just a day, you can't beat our kitchen or bar to deliver just what you need! We hope to see you soon, Jazmine, Niko, Leka, Carlos, Klara and Chad.

Coconut shrimp are good, but over priced for what you get. Stopped by a second time, but only had a frozen pina colada. Good, but not the best. The staff is very attentive. Located on an extremely busy corner. Heavy foot traffic, and vehicle traffic.

Visited this restaurant/bar while waiting for a snorkeling tour and it was awesome. the bartender Carlos was amazing and very friendly. I had the Pink Panther drink and it tasted great and was HUGE! The food looked great although I didn't have anything to eat there. The couple next to me had wings and potato skins that looked and smelled... More

We love the drinks here. They specialize in margaritas and don't use any prepackaged mixers. Just fresh fruit, limes etc. it's a must try.

Sitting right in the thick of things on Melgar, Thirsty Cougar is a wonderful place to stop and revive. The drinks were great. The music, featuring two guys on guitar, was some of the best I have heard on the island. The best part for me was sitting on the street and watching the world go by. I walked across... More

We were just kinda stumbled into this seaside little place and pulled up to the bar. It was cruise ship day so the town was packed. My girl ordered a flavored margarita and it was huge. The bartender was super friendly and just a fun guy to be around. There were only two others up at the bar so it... More

We stopped in for drinks before moving for dinner. I had a yummy frozen Strawberry & Banana daq. It was enormous - could had served two thirsty people. They were kind enough to blend a virgin daqueri for my 8 year old- all off the menu

This cafe located on a corner of the main tourist strip offers good service, great margaritas (go shaken, not frozen) and is a great place to sit and watch the the world go by. Food is a mix of Mexican and international and is good value for money? Free wifi is a bonus
