We have been coming to Cozumel and eating at this restaurant for about 15 years. We were skeptical when it changed from "Prima" to "La Terraza," but our fears were unfounded. Their quality and atmosphere survived the change of ownership. We always loved the blue cheese salad and the excellent Italian dishes. Outdoor dining in the heart of the city... More

I have responded to this review personally, but I would also like to respond to the rest of the public who might be considering a dinner out with us. We bake fresh bread every day that comes free with every meal, the blue cheese salad that was mentioned is 90 pesos or $6.16 us dollars. We feel this is a... More

I love La Terraza! The food is amazing and service top notch. We visited La Terraza twice on our trip and can't wait to return next year. We were a party of 7 and honored to have met the owners who are just lovely people. Our table was visited by them early and often. I appreciated the attentiveness and good... More

WOW! The fried Calamari is fantastic! The lobster florentine is so good with very large chunks of lobster in a wonderful creamy base!! I could eat it every day. The deserts are made on site and marvelous !!

We love La Terraza! The food is fabulous, the service impeccable and the owners visit each and every table to make sure everything is going well. This is one of the places we have to make it to every time we go!!

We were in Cozumel the week before Easter. We were actually walking past La Terraza when one of the gals in our group (there were 11 of us!) started talking to Ed and his hostess who were standing in the doorway of the restaurant. During the conversation, we were all intrigued about the food, the menu and the fact that... More

Just happened on this restaurant one night and so glad we did. Pasta was freshly made and the Coconut Shrimp was very tasty. The vegetable side were not over cooked and delicious. Location was an upstairs corner that made the whole experience perfect.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering the town and are so glad we did. The owners are an expat couple from the US, and they could not be lovelier. The food was amazing - fresh homemade pasta, beautifully done seafood. My BF said this was the best margarita he'd had in Mexico. The key-lime pie was absolutely perfect. We... More

After lots of consideration for our last meal on Cozumel, we decided to try La Terraza based on outstanding Trip Advisor reviews. I think we were the only people there to start with – it might have had something to do with the road construction out front – but eventually others arrived too. I first ordered a margarita, which was... More
