Absolutely Delightful!

Ok folks, this is one great surprise here in Cozumel. An Italian eatery with a cook who immigrated here from Italy 27 years ago serving up fresh Italian dishes that are different each day. As others have said the food is served in the cook's home either in the air conditioned kitchen or served outside on the patio. The Cucina... More

This place is locals favorite for lunch. They are not open for Dinner but serve an awesome lunch. We go there often with friends to eat good Italian and catch up on what's happening on the island. It's a family run place that's loves what they cook and want you to keep coming back. Check the place out and you... More

Home made Italian dishes, and not just pasta! Excelled stuffed chicken breasts. And Vegetarian entrees as well. All meals come with delicious soup and salad, and either fruit juice or tea. Of course, there is also wine for purchase.

Spending 2 months in Cozumel has given us the great opportunity to try so many restaurants and bars. When we were told to try La Cuicina Italiana I was skeptical because it was described to me as " it's in someone's home and they don't have a menu- you just point to things the owner (mom?) has made and they... Let me first start off by saying amount that my wife and I have been coming here for many years. When we first started going the prices were very reasonable. Now they have been inflated quite a bit. I think if the owner lowered the prices to a more reasonable amount, like 70-80 pesos a plate, then the dining experience... More

We stumbled across this cute little restaurant and could not believe the food we had (and very affordable)! I personally was getting tired of Mexican food and this is as good as some our restaurants back home (but much cheaper)! You enter the restaurant (a converted house) via a courtyard and the entree selections are there for you to pick... More

Along a small street you will find "lila's" (as we were introduced to it by this name? owner, maybe?) The restaurant is in a home and the atmosphere is very quaint. The ordering is a bit different as the food for that day is displayed near the entrance and you order by viewing what is available. Food looks so delicious... More

Wow - this little place is a true gem. When you enter your menu is set before you on the counter - the actual dishes of the day! You pick out what you'd like, every entree comes with a salad and soup. If you're Spanish is a little weak, no worries, just point at one of the yummy dishes then... More
