They used to be a hype place, with good service and fantastic cigar selection. Now, barely 2 tables with people, and a very small selection of (dry, 52% himidity) cigars
Excellent food, great place and nice people. Prices are a bit high though it's a restaurant. You can burrito for 3$ near the Chabad House but nothing to compare.
Service: terrible no interaction at all. Never saw a server smile Food: started with chicken wings 9 for $9 they were fine but nothing special! Main courses we both had fish (mango sauce and cream sauce) nothing special. Value: this restaurant was poor value but is straight across from ferry so can charge a premium for location. Total bill for... More
The location is everything for this place the food is good the service is very good but I won´t make a special trip to eat there again
So, let me get the title out of the way: if you are arriving by cruise ship, do not go to Playa del Carmen for Cuban cigars. It was so good, I wanted to eat there again while we were in Cozumel. We were walking the square looking at menus and when I told them that I was vegan so we probably wouldn't eat there, he told me he'd make me something. He did, and it was so perfect! I'll go again the next time we visit.
Typical tourist food meaning premium priced and food that lacks flavour. I had way better tasting food for a fraction of the price a few blocks away. Food came right away and then I was forgotten. Nice view though
We've been to this place a few times now, always going to the upstairs portion which has better seating. The location is right at the ferry port, so there's a lot of activity around. It's one of the best places to stop around that area for some light lunch fare and drinks. We've only had lunch before, but here are... More
We have eaten 3 times now at La Casa del Habano, and each time we have been pleasantly pleased with our food and dining experience. I would definitely give it a thumbs-up and suggest you try it out during your stay in Cozumel. We have dined in the evening and just enjoyed an afternoon snack on the balcony overlooking the... More
Came with a group of 4. We had been wandering around the area downtown looking for a place to eat and was grabbed by this establishments hawker. We decided to give it a try after he offered a dollar off margaritas. (Slow night) We were taken care of by Esteban and Gabriel. Both far exceeded expectations. Food Guac-Good Steak Quesdillas-...
