Finally, a restaurant that serves you a small portion of excellent food instead of hoping that you don't notice that the big pile on your plate is tasteless. Try the Lionfish appetizer. Nest time we are there I will just order 3 of those and dessert.

Very friendly resident cat joined our dinner table. Make sure you try the sampler for dessert, as there are lots of choices, and this is big enough to share! Be sure to remember bug spray for your ankles!!!

I have been to Kondessa twice and was impressed each time. The fish is always fresh catch of the day and varies, but the preparation and presentation is amazing. The Pescado Pepita and Pescado Zuma were our favorites. Last time, it was a friend's birthday and the staff out did themselves on a special dessert and after dinner drink--both in... More

Kondesa delivered again, as always. Attentive staff and interesting specials. Don't settle for 'garlic fish.' Go to Kondesa and get the Sea Bass with pepitas or something else interesting. All their dinner plates come out looking like the cover of a food magazine and taste even better. The owners know how to blend and marry flavors to create outstanding food... More

Having a home on the island allows us time to sample most of the restaurants on Cozumel. I was at Kondesa's grand opening years ago and have not tired it. Kondesa and sister restaurant, Kinta are two that we visit every trip. Owner, Kris Wallenta and head waiter, Caesar have this place rocking with regular entertainment and best of all,... More

My wife and four friends dined at Kondessa on October 29, after our hotel had made reservations on short notice. When we arrived, we were seated in the bar area, as all other tables were occupied. The service was quick and servers were friendly and professional. Drinks were served quickly and our orders for food were delivered promptly, considering the... More

The food was very good - I really enjoyed the flavours. Was nice to get a fine-dining-like experience like you'd get back at home. Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. The catch of the day was grouper and was cooked very nicely. The Panuchos were awesome - highly recommend them!

This place is a step up from most of the other restaurants we visited in Cozumel. Staff are great and the garden setting is absolutely lovely. The menu is interesting, the food is flavorful and they also mix some interesting cocktails… what's not too like?

Has 3 different sauces/preparations for catch of the day. The preparations were different than usual but very good. Service was excellent.

The MOST AMAZING Pescado (Grouper) Tomatillo with mashed sweet potato and chipotle apple salsita at Kondesa Cozumel was as good as it looked this last Friday night! If you ever visit Cozumel you MUST eat here. The atmosphere is beyond words and the food and service is even better! Great job Kondesa!!
