On our honeymoon in Cozumel, we wanted to make sure we ate at local restaurants...we found Kindesa on Yelp and then looked them up here. Our experience was nothing less than phenomenal. For $695 peso you can get a couples experience. You will try four appetizers, three main courses and four desserts, all of which were amazing. It is outdoor... More

Pleasantly surprised to find such a great meal in Cozumel. Yes, I know, there are lots of great places to eat on the cheap in Cozumel, perhaps not a cheaply as when I first ventured there in 1997, but this place is a bit different. As many know, Cozumel has grown by leaps and bounds since the cruise ship started... More

Kondesa was recommended to us and we are so glad we went! We had the queso for an appetizer and it was really, really, good. My husband had the steak and I had the lionfish cakes (appetizer) as my meal. Both were excellent. We also went to Kinta, the sister restaurant. We liked the atmosphere better at Kondesa, but the... We did enjoy the restaurant. It was outside in a garden. The same Chef from Kinta owns Kondesa. Our group loved the appetizers and the dinner was good. I think that we would go back to Kinta's 1st.

My best meal since a week. Food prepared and served with care, the stuff was really pleasant and informative. The garden was quite charming. I hope for visiting it again.

Decent restaurant away from the busy street over looking the ocean and ferry terminal. The food itself is good specially the dessert. Portions of the mains could be more generous. Not a place if you are hungry and want to eat well.

This restaurant is owned and operated by the owner of Kinta's. There were six people in our party and we all ordered different menu items. The menu items are different but the food is just as good if not better than Kinta's. My wife had a special that was recommended by the waiter. I had shrimp. The portion sizes are... More

This was one of my favorite restaurants in Cozumel. They have an excellent special for couples that gives you a variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. It was great. The waiter was funny and very knowledgeable of everything on the menu. I would highly recommend Kondesa.

Just off the beaten track and an absolute highlight during a recent week long stay in Cozumel. By far the best food in Cozumel with excellent service which strikes the balance between attentive yet unobtrusive. Portion size is really good and whilst the menu may seem small, its because they do a few things very well rather than lots of... More
