Wonderful food! Worth trying it!

La Lobsteria was recommended to us by a friend. It was a great recommendation! Omar, the owner, was so personable. The food was delicious and reasonably-priced. The same meal at home would have cost me 4 times as much. We basically had a seafood platter of lobster, grouper, shrimp, squid, and king... read more

Great meal. What more can I say- I would recommend this little place for a great lobster dinner. Good conversation with the proprietor and the cook.

We ate here several times on our trip. The service was great, and we had the best flan for dessert I have ever eaten!

We ended up at la lobsteria after not being able to get a table at kondesa. I'm glad we couldn't get that table. I ordered a margarita and it was wine of the best drinks I have had in years. Fresh lime juice and don ramone tequila made it an amazing drink. Omar the owner then brought the table some... More

I have eaten here on each of my last trips to Cozumel. The atmosphere is pleasant, open air, surrounded by local vegetation, with agreeable Mexican music played softly in the background. The rock lobster, chosen by weight and shown before cooking, was cooked appropriately with a light oil and garlic sauce. It was served with both butter and garlic dips.... More

Omar, the owner, treated our party of six like royalty. Food was delicious. Lobster fresh and best shrimp tacos.

We sat in the garden area, there were six of us. The place was empty when we arrived around 7pm. There were a few other tables full when we left. Food was good. Had lime sup - yum - and my sister and I shared grilled grouper and coconut shrimp. We had a great time enhanced by some white wine... More

We went for lunch the other day and had a mixed experience. We started off with a bowl of lime soup. This was excellent. The flavors were so good with lots of protein in the broth; I'd go back for that. For lunch my wife had the lobster tacos. She really enjoyed those. I had the lobster pasta. I was... More

Just a funky little spot that concentrates on atmosphere and food quality....not a lot of frills, but when you have a host as fun and charming as Omar, ya don't need em to be successful
