We spotted the restaurant while wandering some back streets in town and decided to try it for lunch. The service was great and very friendly. The food was awesome. The caliente sauce will certainly get the sweat forming on the forehead. Did not eat the lobster, but the chicken and coconut shrimp were very good. It wasn't busy and was... More

This is a pleasant restaurant- plenty of food and pricier than the average dinner here. We were surprised to be told after the meal that they are cash only, so be aware.

I was staying on the same block, so I stopped in for some lunch on my first day. I ordered mixed ceviche and a beer. Ceviche didn't taste fresh and was very "fishy." The waiter, Omar, was very nice and told me that it would be more busy and happening after 8, so I thought I would come back. When... More

Had a wonderful, romantic meal at La Lobsteria on our most recent vacation!! We've eaten lobster all over the island, and this was hands down, the best prepared, freshest, and biggest tail for your dollar!! Don't trust the guy's who claim, "Best tail I ever had!", because their service is not ANYWHERE near what it should be for the outrageously... More

We recently returned to La Lobsteria and, as always, the lobster was delicious! It is simply the most tasty and well presented lobster on the island. We also enjoyed red snapper and king crab. The food is reasonably priced, the ambiance is sweet and the staff could not be more attentive.

Omar, the manager always make my visit a great experience. Great food...try huge seafood platter for 2. Great setting back patio. Open 11-11. Have to look as not on main street...1black east and few blocks south...nothing fancy but great rustic local place

Cute spot. We stopped for lunch and had lime soup. It was just okay. We have had much better lime soup elsewhere on the island. We walked by this restaurant at least once a day and there were never more than one or two people in it. The washrooms are inconveniently placed beside a table in the back restaurant. When... More

What a great restaurant! 10 of us showed up and were welcomed and seated on the beautiful patio. It was a quaint setting. We trusted the owner to prepare food for our table and were treated to 3 huge seafood platters that consisted of grouper, shrimp, lobster, calamari and crab. The meal was wonderful. The food was not fried but... More

Had one of best dinners here during a week of diving. We went to all the high end places like Kondesa and found this to be much better. I had the lobster tacos and my son had lobster pasta while the wife had garlic shrimp. Boy I can still taste those tacos. The owner was very friendly and talkative. If... More

We had a lovely meal with friends. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Omar took good care of us. We recommend the lobster pasta. Take some bug spray, and enjoy a great meal in a garden setting.
