Just returned from a weeks stay and was introduced to Frank, the new restaurant manager. He’s super nice and very interested in what his customers have to say about the restaurant. Sergio is like family and I always look forward to catching up on what is new in his world and how his son, Alan, has been doing in soccer.... More

We stopped in for a quiet dinner after a long tiring day. After the good food and how the staff treated us, we were relaxed and ready for some night life. My one friend wanted comfy food and they accommodated him with mashed potatoes and gravy. Our meals were off of the menu and were worth the price. The flan... More

This came recommended to us and we are so glad we tried it. My husband had the enchiladas and really liked them. I had the garlic shrimp diablo style. Spicy and just right. This is a second floor restaurant with a beautiful view of the water and the sunset. Each meal includes a shot of tequila and flan. Great way... More

This restaurant is part of a dive resort. Great food and prices are typical American prices. If you're staying at the dive resort, breakfast is included every morning, which makes the resort even a better value. Restaurant is on the water, one story up, so there are great views.

One night while staying at El Cid La Ceiba. We decided to take a walk toward town and find a place to eat. We stumbled upon The Blue Angel Restaurant which is about a mike north of El Cid. After looking at the menu, we decided to give it a try. Let's just say that the outdoor dining and the... More

In addition, the entertainment at night was a soothing blend of Mexican romantic songs and popular American tunes. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot breakfast and the service was impeccable!

They will cook to order and the food is tasty and fresh. There is an extra charge for juice and coffee. You are not told this when you book. The buffet at Casa Mexacana and El Cid are far better, and you get a much better value .

We ate lunch at this restaurant as part of a scuba diving excursion. After diving and snorkeling with the dive shop on the first floor of the building, our group of about 16 were offered one of three entrees for lunch before returning to Playa del Carmen - chicken, fish, or vegetarian. My husband and I both chose chicken. There... More

Great menu choices, reasonable prices for the area, usually friendly wait staff. We ate most of our meals here on our vacation, and the one meal we had in town, we wished we had eaten at the Blue Angel Restaurant. For breakfast they don't open till 7, and dive boats all go out at 8, so the restaurant is pandemonium... More

I visited a couple of upscale San Miguel restaurants, however food eas tastier in Blue Angel, and service was very personal and friendly, so I stick with it for the rest of vacation.
