We tried Kinta during a week's stay in Cozumel, based on reviews here and were a bit disappointed. The garden at the back is a lovely setting (the inside area though is bland), but the place tries too hard to be smart, modern and sophisticated and doesn't quite pull it off. The downside is it doesn't feel very Mexican at... More

My girlfriend and I had a great romantic dinner in the inner garden of kinta Mexican bistro. The food was delicious.. We had fish tacos as an appetizer and a kozumel salad and pumpkin seed crusted fish as main dishes. All were special, yummy and very aesthetically presented. The only downside is the mosquito problem.. Which was solved with the... More

We go to Kinta's every time we visit Cozumel. This is our fourth time and the food was perfectly prepared and delicious again. Our friends who live in Cozumel recommended this restaurant to us several years ago. Their menu items are unique. Your selection will be different than anything that you will find anywhere else. The food is exceptional and... More

Kinta has a wonderful lit outdoor garden that they seat you at. It was really beautiful, a great place for couples to go. Prices were not bad, about 20-25 per person. Obviously a lot higher the more drinks you get. The food was delicious, worth the visit.

The outdoor patio seating was beautiful. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was exceptional, a special find in Cozumel. The grouper was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. My fiancé ordered the filet and did have to send it back to be cooked a bit more. He likes his meat medium well which is difficult with a very thick... More

We were celebrating our anniversary in Cozumel and had this place recommended for us. A reservation was made for us and as soon as we showed up for it we were brought to a nice table that was somewhat private. The outdoor space at this restaurant is beautiful and doesn't make you feel like you're in the middle of town.... More

...and I love grouper! I love to see them when I am diving and I love have it out for dinner. Kinto nailed the fish with a fusion of pumpkin seed topping that added just a special crunch for the dish. We both had grouper and it was spot on. Side dishes of veggies added well and we ended the... More

The food at Kinta Bistro is likely the best available in Cozumel. It is a mix of local flavor and contemporary cuisine. Their black bean soup, Peskado Koketo fish and Chile Relleno vegetable dish are exceptional. The front of the restaurant can be a bit deceptive, but venture in and enjoy the courtyard sitting area. The food unquestionably deserves a... More

My family always loves to have dinner at Kinta each time they visit Cozumel. The experience last night was fantastic as always. For appetizers there was black bean soup - one of our our all time favorites - plus the takos de pastor and another choice on the menu that was new to us, the minichiladas (little enchiladas) but that... Kinta brought a new level of dining to Cozumel when it opened. It is graceful and elegant dining in a beautiful island setting. The menu is a gourmet delight. Their wine is smooth and delicate. The staff is outstanding and you can always expect the Chef/Owner to drop by your table and visit.
