If you want a special night in Cozmel, try Kris Wallenta's gem, Kinta. With its romantic garden setting, attentive wait staff, and incredible cuisine, Kinta will wow you. It's a great spot for a quiet dinner, not the "woohoo" party haven that caters to other tourists. (Think of the antithesis of Margaritaville...welcome to Kinta.) Using fresh local ingredients and throwing... More

Kinta was a last minute recommendation by a friend here in the states, and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! From the drinks to the service and the food, it was absolutely perfect!! We were blown away, and highy recommend!! We left our all-inclusive for a Saturday night in Cozumel, and Kinta was exactly what we needed for dinner!! The grotto/courtyard is... More

We are a well travelled couple in our early 60s living in France. I agree with all the rave reviews about this restaurant. Original and inventive menu, cooking and presentation. even the lowly black bean soup is to die for and the wahoo (favourite fish) with almond crust divine. We were in cozumel for 1 week and ate here or... More

The food and the ambiance at this restaurant was fabulous. The menu had a contemporary Mexican flavor and the seafood we all had was fresh, light and flavorful. The service was also outstanding. We will return! More

We had a romantic dinner here a few months ago (just realized I never wrote a review). I still remember what both of our entrees were which says a lot because it was over 8 months ago. My wife got a shrimp dish that was wonderfully presented. I looked on their website and I think it is called KAMARON ADOBADO.... More

Owner/Chef Chris Wallenta is one talented guy. I live in Cozumel and Kinta is a regular stop. Food is great .... service attentative ..... reasonably priced. Special fare is a weekly option to the menu. Garden is beatiful. A romantic resturant that has good food ..... go figure. Frequented by locals and ex-pats as well. You will come back!!! More

We visited several restaurants throughout our stay in Cozumel and chose Kinta based on the excellent TA reviews. We were not disappointed. Our server was attentive and by far, the food was the best we tasted on the island. We would return for sure upon another visit to Cozumel and would highly recommend to anyone! More

My wife and I were in town for our 10 year anniversary and wanted a romantic dinner one of the nights. After some research we chose Kinta and we are so happy we did. We were seated in their unique patio area that was beautifully lit and quaint. Our server was excellent doing a great job explaining the menu and... More

From the front Kinta doesn't look like much, and had the Italian place that was recommended to us by friends been open on our last evening in Cozumel we would have missed out entirely! But, don't let the tiny front of the place fool you, there is a lovely garden to dine in out the back and some of the... More

Since early Jan is slow season for COZ, and it was early in the week, we dropped in without reservations. They were a little perplexed, but gave us a choice of tables. There were only a few other couples there, but a little later they were nearly full. The owner made the rounds, chatting with all his guests. It was... More
