What a great little restaurant off the beaten path. Definitely worth heading off the main drag and finding it!

This is the type of place I love to find. Not much to look at but absolutely adds to the charm. The place gets packed for the delicious and authentic Mexican food. One of my favorites

Wow, am I glad we found this little jewel of a restaurant. The food is very cheap and the food is some of the best food we had all week. I had chicken burrito and my wife had a vegetation burrito. Both were amazing. We had a couple of beers each and our check was $14 total. It is a... More

read all the great reviews in TA and couldn't wait to give this place a try. Had the sliced lengua and my wife had the skirt steak taco. It was so delicious!! Definitely a local spot with cheap food and drinks. The best part was after our dinner we were invited by Omar who works the bar right across from... More

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place. The prices are low and the food is very good. Don't expect overly friendly service, but your food will arrive on time.

My husband and I ate dinner here one night. It is a real Mexican dining experience with great food at a very reasonable price! My husband and I had 5 tacos between us, 2 beers, and a soda for less than $15. The waiter just barely understands English but we were able to communicate what we wanted with a lot... More

Los Otates is another small out of the way Mexican taco shop where you can get just about any type of taco for next to nothing, while watching the Gold Cup Soccer tournament. WiFi is also available here. 3 of us got the Gringas tacos, which are pork with a slice of pineapple. Really good tacos and cold beer. It... More

Love, love, love The Gringas! So good! Comes with 3 tacos, but they are small. The quesadillas are good, as well.

Los Otates was a great choice for a late lunch and an easy walk from the main drag. This open air restaurant is a favorite of the locals and I can see why. Four of us ate and had beer and sodas for about $30 US. We ordered a variety of tacos and they were all delicious! If I were... More

Taco's Taco's and some scrumptious Burritos! Being a short walk from our hotel this quickly became our fav post time restaurant. A few taco's some burritos a soda and or adult beverage and you were set! Nothing fancy but really does the trick.
