Local, with simple authentic food

The name on the front says Los Otates Tacos and Pozole. My husband loved the Pozole. We ate here three times in three weeks. Prices are low. You have to try the pozole, about $4. It is a thin tomato broth poured over pork and white corn, served with a platter of chopped onion, sliced radishes and... read more

I had a vegetarian burrito that was even big enough to satisfy my hunger after diving. First I ordered two but the waiter recommended to me to start just with one. A great advice! Fast, tasty, delicious, good price - what else can want to have?

I have been coming to Cozumel for 20 years and discovered this place probably 5-7 years ago before all the other tourists learned about it! My family immediately became addicted, and we eat there at least 3-4 times for dinner on each trip. Especially since you get delicious food for such a great price. This is a little taco stand/restaurant... More

This is my go to place every time I come to Cozumel. I have to eat their lengua, their el pastor, and pretty much anything on the menu. This place is a covered area with no AC and you sit on plastic chairs. The right way to do it. I am excited to come back already!

This is at the top of our list when we visit Cozumel. Must stop if your are looking for some quality tacos al pastor. Prices are very good for what you get.

A great choice for an inexpensive dinner. If you want to experience simple and authentic Mexican fare then this is your place. Plastic card tables and plastic lawn chairs under a corrugated tin roof and a pet rooster across the street added to the charm of this off the beaten path restaurant. If you are looking for an adventure in... More

Do not let the exterior scare you....or some of the items on the menu such as tongue......the food is great. One of the people traveling with us has been here many times over the years so we went on his suggestion. All six of us were very happy with our selections and the price is cheap. We all had some... If you are looking to experience Cozumel the way the locals do or if you just want a darn good taco, you have got to try this place. I don't care if you have a sweet all-inclusive package at your resort - make the room in your stomach to eat here. It's cheap and amazing. Unlike anything I've ever tasted... More

Tin roof, plastic tables and chairs. The tacos are tasty and cheap. This place is frequented by gringos in the know and locals alike. I go there at least once every trip to Cozumel.

Do not miss this restaurant while you're in San Miguel! Everything was soooo good! We ordered guacamole, fundido, and tacos. We went there twice and would have gone in again if we'd stayed on Cozumel longer.
