Healthful is the key word. The extensive breakfast menu offers such delights as whole-wheat French toast and cheese blintzes. For lunch or dinner, consider the vegetarian tacos or lasagna, or choose from the selection of more than a dozen salads. To balance things out there are scrumptious pies, cakes, and pastries baked daily on the premises. Enjoy your healthy meal or sinful snack while sitting on the wrought-iron studio chairs and watching the waterfront out back.

The food and service has been steadily declining in this place. There use to be a decent waiter but now all you get are surly ones who don't appear to want to work. The margaritas are awful. They try to cater their food more to tourists and therefore it is not authentic Mexican. The owner when there only tends to... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed review of Rock'N Java. We make everything in house for that great homemade taste. We've also had the same staff for quite some time now - Jose, our Manager has been with us nearly 20 years - which makes them more like family. Thanks again and looking... More

We always make a point to go here for breakfast and/or dessert. Lovely little cafe with a good view of the ocean, good food and wonderful, friendly service.

The best veggie burger anywhere, large portions of vegetables on veggie fajitas and a terrific tortilla soup. Located near Hotel Barracuda, Mega on the Melgar this is an easy restaurant to get to and enjoy the view out the back window of the Caribbean. Plenty for the kids to eat chicken fingers, french fries and of course cheese quesadilla. Inexpensive... More

The chicken tropical with mango kiwi sauce is great. The mango tango drink is like a mango smoothie. One thing that tricks me is that on trip advisor it says closed that day

This place has a changing environment - early breakfast is fantastic food with beautiful views and peace and quiet. Great staff, fun people enjoying beautiful things and food. The cruise ship rush lunch hour means more fantastic food, great cocktails, but no place to sit, and 20-somethings sitting together ignoring one another while they get their internet fix. Worth the... More

Thanks for taking the time to write such a clever review. We're a popular spot with the entertainment staff on the ships, and there are days in high season where the restaurant is totally packed but it's very quiet since everyone is on their laptops and tablets. Most of the time, especially late lunch and dinner, Rock"N Java is just... More

Hubby and I had a terrific meal at Rock 'n Java. The price was reasonable and we definitely did not go away hungry. Will go back again next year for sure.

We docked here every 2 weeks on the ship for half the contract and it was lovely to go to rock n Java each time. I would get a strange combination of a bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam and a plate with hash browns and a freshly squeezed orange juice. Odd but it was yummy and they did... More
