We went with a dive group and wanted to experience what Lionfish tasted like. Service was very good and the food was amazing. we had both the Lion Fish Kabobs and Coconut Lion Fish and both dishes were hands down the best seafood I have ever had. Will go back again for sure!!!

I had ceviche - I shouldn't have. It was rubbish... more prawn and octopus than you'd ever care to eat at a time. The lion fish that everyone else had though was delicious, so definitely order that!!

Dined at La Perlita after rain soaked drive in rental VW Beetle convertible whose top wouldn't go up, and I erred as to where the restaurant is located. It was well worth the wet detours. I had the lionfish prepared simply, baked with garlic butter. Outstanding. My son had king crab -not on the menu (why not I do not... More

There's a two-for-one lionfish special on Thursday nights and we make a point of heading there are least once per visit to the island.

This is a small and not pretty restaurant. It is almost possible not to trust it at first sight. But stay five minutes and you will become a fan. It all begins with a very sweet and humble welcome just like only Mexican people can do; then the superb food. It is a big surprise to find a chef in... More

Went here with 3 fish eaters...I the only vegetarian. They loved the ceviche (which was huge). The staff was very accommodating to my vegetarian ways. Margaritas were delicious!!

Came here after a great morning of diving. Amazing fresh ceviche and the large portion is great to split with friends. Guacamole is yummy and the lion fish was super tasty. Came here on a cruise ship day and no other tourists here - just locals! Friendly owner and staff and it was an easy cab ride here. I highly... More

We had been spearfishing Lionfish all day and brought our catch here to be prepared for us. We brought in about 10 fillets and they prepared it in a coconut fried crust and it was excellent. They served it on a platter with rice, bread and vegetables along with a few other nice garnishes. For the 5 of us they... More

Great & Tasty Local Seafood. A local diving instructor recommended this place while hanging out after an awesome day of diving. Running by a local family, La Perlita is a great relief to get away from the cruise ship hell of most restaurants. If you like fresh fish and seafood, you won't get wrong with this place. Portions are extremely... More
