I ate at Guidos in early November 2009 with my wife. We ate there in part due to the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. The restaurant was not that busy probably due to the time of the year. I ordered a mojito which was a little too sweet for my taste, but my wife enjoyed her iced tea. There is a... more

Ate at Guidos 3 times during a recent 2-week stay in Cozumel. The service is great - a little over-attentative when quiet - but lovely people, very friendly and they know the menu. I mainly stuck to the pizzas - they were excellent, fresh dough base and tasty toppings (and they'll wrap them for you to take away if you... more

I have been going to coz for 20 yrs. I always have several people with me and needed someplace to hide. I must say I felt like Hemmingway with my sangrias and calzone looking at the water and main drag until my betrothed busted me. Now its pizzas to take home, several times and several pizzas it has become our all... more

Fabulous food and excellent service. The atmosphere is wonderful, dining outside in the patio area surrounded by plants and nature. The daily specials are really special especially the fresh fish. A definite must when going to Cozumel more

We went on a Saturday night , mostly locals and a large party in the outdoor area celebrating an anniversary. Sevice was great and the home made pasta dishes were superb. A little pricey for Cozumel but worth it. more

Dropped in for some Insalata Caprese and Pizza Marghareta. 18 months ago it was great. This time it bordered on down right bad. The mozarella was hard, the crusts were overcooked. Really disappointing. Maybe it is because Kris who was a chef here, left 18 months ago to open Kinta. more

OK so my experience at Guidos was far from fantastic. Granted, the restaurant was almost empty when we first sat down and the patio had filled by the time we put our food order in, but that said the service we received at Guidos was the WORST I've ever had in mexico or the US or anywhere. We were ignored... more

The garden area of Guidos is such a relaxing place to eat. Dinner there is always a special time for my husband and me. We started with a pitcher of Sangria and the garlic bread from the brick oven. All the pasta noodles are homemade and melt in your mouth delicious. I consider myself somewhat of an expert in eating... more

there is still only one italian restaurant that is worth a night out and that is Guidos. We have tried all the others and nothing compares to the quality you get from this fine restaurant. Year after year we go back and have never been dissapointed. more

We first visited Guidos one afternoon over 10 years ago when it was Pizza Rolandi (still have the matchbook!) The menus used to be large wooden boards hauled over to the tables but I haven't seen them since Hurricane Wilma...one remains outside. We were in town and ducked inside to get away from the cruise crowds. The outdoor patio area... more
