We have eaten at El Moro a few times over the years and have always found the food to be quite good. The service we have received has always been fantastic, the waiter (who's name I can't remember) is always very welcoming and helpful. I have to say their mole is fantastic and by far my favorite on the island.... More

I walked here and it is a LONG way off the main avenue. The staff was watching TV and not one person even noticed that I was there.....I just left.

Don't be alarmed but this is a great local restaurant further back in the city when your taxi seems to be heading into nowhere! We came here two nights after diving and I enjoyed both local fish miniere style and a Cuban style steak with great flavours, and tried my friends well prepared -- and not dry -- chicken too.... We went here based on recommendations from tripadvisor contributors. Thank you! The food was spectacular and Ray, our server, was equally great! We ordered too much food and ended up taking most of it home, but it was just as good the next day. A little hard to find. We drove around it for several minutes before we finally saw... More

The food is very good but this place is hard to find for the average tourist. This place has existed for 35 years and is family owned. We had a dish with lots of different fish and have to say it was really good. At the end of your meal you get a free shot. My wife had a sangria... More

Although, this is a bit off the beaten path, it is well worth the excursion! Wonderful family owned restaurant. Rey was our waiter. He was extremely attentive and knew every detail about the menu. He helped each of the six members of our group pick a great menu item. It is family style dining, and the ambiance reflects this. Wonderful... More

Yet another Cozumel restaurant with gracious service and great food at reasonable prices. My accomplice had fish and I had pork chops and both were delicious as was both the mango and vanilla ice creams. This is a Cozumel don't miss.

A must stop every trip and always a favorite after 18 years. Quiet neighborhood and fantastic food, worth the drive.
