Great food and excellent service

A large group of us went there for dinner after a long day diving. We loved the fajitas, lobster, and drinks. We were so impressed that we went back for our last night to celebrate.

Not sure what the disconnect is, but our experience was not so great. The drinks were large but not tasty, and they were overpriced. 2 of our meals were average-to-good, and 2 were plain boring and overcooked. The fellow who waited on us was nice and attentive, but clearly overworked and trying to keep his smile plastered on -- poor... More

Some others in our dive boat mentioned this restaurant, as did our dive master, so we thought we'd try it. Best meal of the week so far! Excellent grouper and shrimp with peppers and onions in a light sauce in foil. The salsa is all hot with habaneros, but when I asked if there was any less hot or waiter... More

Extensive menu with lots of Mexican specialties. Full bar, good service. Margaritas are especially good. Ice cream for dessert!

We love Cozumel! And a big part of the reason is El Moro. We have been coming to this out-of-the-way restaurant for 20 years. Each time we have been greeted by the owner as if we were daily customers. The authentic food is carefully prepared by the friendly staff. Their personal service beats any other place in Cozumel. The food... More

Everything is wonderful, but I know I'm going to order the Beef Cubano. There's nothing like it. On our last trip, they kindly permitted us to watch them prepare the plantanas. Highlight of our visit!

El Moro has become one of our favorite restaurants on the Island over the past few years as much for the atmosphere as for the food. This family run business is off the beaten path but attracts mainly foreigners based on the combination of consistent food, reasonable prices and friendly service. We enjoy eating with friends when we go as... More

This was the best meal we had in a week on the island. We were greeted by the owner and he remembered us from the year before. The lime soup is the best I have had. I enjoyed the fajitas and there was enough to share with my daughter. We had lemonade with mineral water. Awesome. There is a lot... More

Family and friends gathered for Dinner. Once the tequila started, the dinner turned into a party. Food was excellently prepared. Drinks were huge and abundant. We had a great evening.

This place is so yummy! We were in Cozumel for a week and ate dinner there four times😄. The food is fresh and good local stuff. We particularly enjoyed the chicken beast with garlic and the chicken kabobs. Fish was yummy too as was the shrimp on a wire😊. It's in a local neighborhood and the service is excellent and... More
