My husband and I went here two times while on vacation. Both times did not let us down. The service was excellent as was the food. The restaurant is located in the middle of a residential area but was very easy to find. We did notice that there weren't any 'locals' there but whatever the case, the food was great... More

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always left satisfied. The waiter (Ray) was exceptional. He always greets you with a smile and genuinely makes you feel at home. I believe his father opened the restaurant years earlier in what was his home and now his three sons run it. When parking at night you are assisted by... More

A personal favorite of real Mexican cuisine. Don't miss the Sopa de Lima (Lime Soup). Very friendly staff with great service, the quality is escellent. We'll be back next time again.

Every time we are in Cozumel we eat at El Moro's, sometimes a couple times. Everything we've ordered has been delicious. This is truly "home cooked" Cozumel style food at it's finest. The drinks are generous and the food portions are satisfying. The staff is friendly and attentive. From appetizers to home made ice cream for desert it's ALL good!... More

Made two visits this year... Sopa de Lima. Get it. Best I've ever had and it isn't close. First visit I had Sopa de Lima and Conch in garlic butter - both absolutely wonderful. Second visit had Sopa de Lima and the mixed ceviche - even better. Their margaritas are wonderful, their pico is great, and the service from Ray... More

And excellent service too. Margaritas are to die for but be careful as they will hit you before you get dinner! The conch is excellent as are all the shrimp dishes. We ate here six out of seven nights. The family remembers you from previous annual visits and are very accommodating. They like to make the abolita happy so everyone... More

The waitstaff at this restaurant WORK to keep you happy. On our visit, everyone that my wife and I interacted with was smiling, helpful, and running around the restaurant to keep the customers happy. They are determined to make your visit a happy one. The food is very good, and cooked to order. The kitchen staff handled our special requests... More

Waiter was very friendly and helpful but we didn't get his name. He spoke excellent english and offered suggestions for entrees which we accepted. The chicken skewer was excellent with rice and black bean sauce. My shrimp meal was outstanding but I have no idea what it was called. The Margaritas were good and we were even treated to an... Ray makes you feel like family when you visit El Moro. The food is extraordinary and I encourage you to explore the menu because everything is delicious. I've gone with Ray's recommendations and have not been disappointed. (Believe him when he says the habanero that comes with the chips is hot!) The Lime Soup is the best I've ever had.... More
