Ate at Pepe's this past week. Food way overpriced. Got better steaks at Casa Mission at a much better price. Fish was overcooked. When we sat down and saw the prices we were very surprised. Service was excellent. There are way too many great restaurants in Coz to revisit this one. more

Upon finding our chosen restaurant closed for the night, we decided to step into Pepe's after seeing it several times passing through the main strip. Let me cut to the chase as obviously I was pleased with my experience. I had the Prime Rib... I believe it was 21oz or 600 grams. This was not a traditional Prime Rib in... more

After reading all of the reviews here that say that Pepe's is way over priced, I had to laugh. Where do you normally eat in the states, Sizzler? We went to Pepe's last night. We make it a point to go every year. Our waiters (Pedro is a hoot!) were top notch, and our dinner was fabulous as usual. We... more

Returned for our 25th anniv, and think we had the same waiter. Great food, good atmosphere, great service. Definitely not the cheapest in town, but worth a minor splurge - $74 usd for dinner w appetizer, desert, for two, w/o drinks. Eat at McDs down the road a few times to build up your funds i f you need to.... more

My husband and I saw Pepe's on our walk down the main drag. He remembered reading good reviews so we went in. Although we were sunburnt and windblown, the waiters did not blink an eyelash as we sat down. The decor is all dark woods and white linens. We had ceviche and a form of French Onion soup. The soup... more

We went to Pepe's last week during a golf trip. Worst place we visited in an otherwise excellent town. Appetizers were OK but served in wrong order, one person in company of four got his alone, then the others got soups and main appetizers in wrong order. Then came the main meals, again one person was forgotten. As it turns... more

Go to Pepe’s Grill if you want a beautiful Mexican steakhouse experience. Great food, nice service. A bit on the pricy side, but well worth it if you want a huge and perfectly cooked steak. more

We dined at Pepe's by a reccommendation of a friend. When we walked in we were surprised to find an unscale setting. We were greeted quickly and shown to a nice table with a view. Service was quick, and food was served hot, especially the shrimp entree with flames prepared at our table. Our other guests made, steak, shrimp alfredo,... more

We have been going to Pepe's for 3 years and won't be going back. The view is wonderful but the prices are way out of line with other excellent restaurants 'without a view'. The waiters are numerous but a little aloof. We wanted to split an entre and that really turned them off to us. This is an easy restaurant... more

It´s true that you could spend a bit more in Pepe´s than in other restaurants in Cozumel. But It´s also true that the quality of the food and service in our restaurant it´s better. All our fish is fresh, we get it daily directly from the fishermen, as well as our lobster. All of our steaks are Certified Angus beef....

I was told to go here by my aunt and uncle who have been going to Cozumel for years. Pepe's definately lived up to the hype. We went to Pepe's for dinner with another couple that we met at our resort. The staff was phenomenal and the food was spectacular. We had steak and lobster, both of which was delicious.... more
