Excellent Ambiance

The food was OK, nothing to write home about but what set Pancho's backyard out from the rest was the ambiance. Prices were a bit higher than what we spent at other places but if you want a memorable location to eat dinner at, Pancho's is the place to go.

My family ate here while in port on Disney Cruise. It was delicious and my kids had a blast playing the instruments with the band! The size of the meals are pretty large so keep this in mind! We would absolutely go back!!!

We have dined at this restaurant's Puerto Maya location multiple times and have enjoyed every single visit! The service is great, the staff is exceptionally cordial, the food is excellent and the view of the beautiful water and ships in the background completes the picture.

The atmosphere is great, the food is AMAZING!! The fresh chips and salsa were delicious as were the fajitas. The drinks were large, and they did not skimp on the alcohol. We were thoroughly impressed with everything. There are a couple people playing instruments at the front, and they even invited my 6 year old to come play with them.... More

The food is good, but nothing very special. The ambiance in the evening is nice with all the little lights. Nicer at night than during the day. Lots of tourists and very noisy during the day.

We had a party of eight, and at the recommendation of our cruise director, decided to have lunch at Pancho's Backyard. I tried the lunch special, a fillet accompanied with retried beans and salsa. The entree was excellent. Also, complementary appetizers were provided. A recommended accessory is the punchbowl fresh margarita.

We took a nice clean taxi, $10 each way, from the Carnival Dream to Pancho's & spent a couple of hours eating & shopping. It was a very hot day & this was perfect for us. The food was good & service was excellent. The margaritas you see in my pictures were $8.95 & our entrees were Quesadillas with shrimp... More

We are a family of four, including teenage boys. We were looking for somewhere to have a nice sit down meal, somewhat local. We walked by Pancho's (downtown), looked at the menu and continued on. However, after a few minutes we decided to return and are glad we did. The restaurant is quaint. There was only one other table occupied... More
