great atmosphere

We had supper here with friends. The shrimp steak, coconut shrimp and mexican plate are great meals to indulge in. Margaritas are the best.

Stopped in for lunch based on the look of the entrance & interior. Had enormous coconut shrimp served in a coconut that had sweet dipping sauce in it. We split this dish, $20, and were served two bowls of chicken tortilla soup, basket of fresh tortilla chips and salsa, as well as basket of fresh garlic bread. Delicious!

Like, like, like this restaurant! I could have their coconut shrimp everyday! All the other food is so excellent as well. These guys know how to cook great meals! We go at least twice during our vacation.

At first glance you may think its a little on pricier end for mexico but what you don't see on menu is what you actually get. I order a Filet maybe $18 and my girlfriend garlic shrimp for like $16. The food was good but they brought out fresh bread and big soups with our meals plus the meals were... More

From start to finish, this was the best restaurant in Cozumel, hands down! I had the Mexican Platter and my girlfriend had the surf and turf. The variety of the Mexican platter was perfect and the surf and turf was out of this world. The drinks were great and service was what you would expect from a high end restaurant... More

We just got off a cruise ship for a day in Cozumel. Went to the beach, did some shopping and then were hungry so we stopped in here after seeing the trip advisor sign. Our lunch and margaritas were very good! A lot of alcohol in those drinks, beware! The atmosphere is inviting as it was very authentic Mexican which... More

We came here on the recommendation of our taxi driver after a day of snorkling. Usually we would have known better and stayed a bit farther away from the strip as you pretty much have to expect to be ripped off this close to the tourist strip but we where tired so we tried it. Sad to say its what... More

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of watching La Mission grow and develop into the Restaurant it is today. In another life, about a decade ago I owned a very active scuba shop. We were able to 60 or diver a year to Cozumel and one of the most talked about places to eat at the pre and... More

We go to La Mission every time we are on the island. The ambiance is great, the service is friendly, and the food is excellent. And you have to order the "sexy coffee" for desert! My wife and I had lobster, giant shrimp, fish, rice n beans of course, soup, drinks, desert, all to the magical tunes of the mariachi band... More

My wife and I recently visited Cozumel February 16, 2015(took boat from Playa Del Carmen). The food was good. Horrible customer service !!!! The servers were not polite and did not look at you when you needed something, extra salsa, another drink etc.
