If you want a great place to eat in the Central with reasonable prices I suggest you go to La Mission. They have two locations, the original location with a tequila factory and the one we ate at ½ block down the side street in downtown Central. ALL of the food was excellent. I had their lobster which was huge... More

We had stop across the street for a great Fish pedi. It was close so we went in. Lovely tree and vine covered area. Made you feel like you were in a jungle, but not over done. The shrimp stuffed avocado was wonderful, nice avocado and large shrimp. The Ceviche was some of the best I've ever had, cheap and... More

Lame meal, expected more authentic mexican food, should have known better when I didn't let the musicians stop me from entering the place. Got tricked into thinking it was good because it was busy - but not with mexicans, as I realized *after* I entered. Had pina colada, fish ceviche, enchilladas. It was ok - not great, but not bad,... This has been a consistent dining spot over our many years of travelling to Cozumel. We truly enjoy it and it is our our dinner itinerary every year!

The biggest disappointment was that we foolishly asked a taxi driver for restaurant recommendations. As we were eating, it became clear why La Mission was being recommended. Taxis would pull up and drop off passengers, then linger until the passengers went inside. At that point, someone would come out from the restaurant and hand money to the taxi driver for... More

Great food and very relaxing surroundings. Had the lime soup, fish ceviche and the seafood platter. Seafood platter included lobster, fresh grouper, shrimp, potatoes, rice & veggies. I finished each bite. Excellent food- the best I experienced on the island. Prices were better than reasonable. Paid twice as much at Albertos and the food was not near as good.

Really poor experience at restaurant My wife ordered steak whilst I ordered the Mexican platter. Both really poor quality compared to the food we''ve experienced at other Cozumel restaurants.

A group of 8 went looking for a place to eat. La Mission seemed to be inviting and we stopped. Service was quick and friendly and food portions were plentiful.
