Our cabbie recommended this place to us and we were very glad we took him up on the suggestion. Our chips and salsa were delicious as were our meals: chicken fajitas and $14 filet mignon served with baked potato and vegetables. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and we enjoyed our drinks (tequila and mojito) as a small band played... More

We've been on the island for a while now and some friends of ours told us how much they liked this place. They must have had an entirely different experience. When you first walk up to the restaurant the decor is wonderful. The layout and atmosphere is great. If this was the only reason I went to a restaurant La... More

My wife and I had a lunch here that was included with a Cozumel Day Tour. We were greeted warmly by the staff, who were ever attentive and never let my glass of cerveza reach the bottom. They asked up front if either of us were vegetarians, which my wife is, and they proceeded to point out all of the... More

The food at my all inclusive was bsaically unedible. So we heard about La Mission from another group at our Hotel and decided to go out and try it. What a great decision...Surf and Turf for $25 a person!! A nice size Lobster tail and a great piece of steak. Flanked by rice, veggies and potatoe. Included was free salsa... More

La Mission is right downtown. You can access it through the Plaza Confetti off of calle1 (back entrance) or from 5th main entrance. Wait staff are tripping over one another to serve you. Food is good, plenty of selections with menu focusing on Mexican or seafood. Presentation is casual and professional. Overall, I preferred the lobster at the Lobster House... More

LaMission is always a good meal for a reasonable price. It is geared toward tourists, perhaps a bit too much. While always busy, on our last visit we were "treated" to marimba music. Nice idea, but too loud and not so great. Food was excellent, however and service was as well.

Love the chicken tortilla soup and the prices are great. We always eat at La Mission every time we are in Cozumel and have never been disappointed. Love the festive casual atmosphere.
