Consistenly good

We go every time we're on the island; the surf and turf are delicious, as is the Mexican platter. The downtown location is casual and laid-back, the actual Mission location east of downtown is more upscale and lovely, especially before the sun goes down so you can enjoy the grounds.

We had reservations and were seated quickly. Our drinks came out in stages and not enough place settings. Had to keep asking for napkins and utensils. Lobster seemed over cooked and the my steak had a hair on it. I would not return to this restaurant. The couple we were with typically really enjoys this place, is not so much

Pretty typical Mexican menu. Traditional Mexican cusine with Steak and Seafood. Excellent service. I always know I can count on this place.

This is not your top ten in Cozumel, that's for sure. Must be because the clientele is mostly Americans, the food is like a Denny's stateside. Come on shrimp cocktail with thousand island sauce.. Ugh! The lobster was not fresh...or defrosted well...tough and dry...no next time here...a tourist trap for the cruise ship crowd

A great little spot - easy to find! If you're short on time and want authentic Mexican forget about Hooters and head straight to this place! You walk right past the open kitchen as you enter. The restaurant is basically an open courtyard covered by a corrugated metal roof. The food is fantastic! Arrive hungry as the portion sizes are... More

Our family enjoyed the guac, pico de gallo and chips as a starter and then LOVED the Coconut Shrimp (large, tender and fresh) and served in a half coconut with a coconut dipping sauce!! Hubby had delicious beef fajitas. Don't miss their margaritas!!

Over the years, La Mission has become a reliable comfort zone. We go back to the old location before the fire. This is the place for the lobster dinner you expect, and the tortilla soup you didn't know was coming. Margaritas are great. They must be the source of "one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor.: Service is always good.

Always come to this restaurant for the fresh fish. Very disappointed this trip because they did not have any Red Snapper, but the Grouper was good. Friendly waiters and quaint atmosphere.

We stopped here to eat from the recommendation from a taxi driver. We are glad we did, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was superb and the prices were just right. We decided to splurge a bit and get the lobster and some steaks. The fillets were done perfectly, the lobster was outstanding! Big portions and delicious all the way... More

My partner and I stopped in here on the recommendation of the proprietor of an high-end art shop around the corner. I had asked him for a good place for fish and he gave it an enthusiastic endorsement. We were quickly seated and given menus. The guacamole and salsa was fine. The mixed ceviche for two was served on a... More
