Excellent fine dining and wines

We make it a point to come to La Cocay each time we are on the island and are never disappointed! They have excellent food in a eclectic outdoor dining area. I would highly recommend La Cocay

Have been diving in Cozumel for 10 or so years and have learned that most (not all) of the harbor-front (Av. Gen. Rafael E. Melgar) restaurants are to be avoided unless you're in a hurry (Guido's and Pancho's Backyard are two notable exceptions). We understand the system that exists between Concierges and restaurants but know that sometimes they are spot... More

Another enjoyable visit to La Cocay as we tried the brick oven pizza. This used to be a Top 10 restaurant on the island just a few years ago and now is in the 30's on TA? The cuisine used to be strictly Mediterranean but has now added Italian and to go pizza and delivery. Quality of meal and service... More

just returning from Cozumel, and after about 20 years of visiting, you think that you have found all the hidden jewels.. Well I have to admit, I missed another flawless jewel on the island. I close friend says to me would you like to go to CoCay? My response was sounds good to me never have been there. my loss.... More

Went a couple of times this past trip and they continue to be very solid. Seafood and pasta dish was great. Pizza is one of the best on the island. Really good steak filet mignon. They're focus is on service and food! What else could you ask for? When main street restaurants get crowded and there are waitlists, walk back... More

I went to this restaurant for dinner with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it. We showed up without a reservation, which was totally fine. They seated us near the outdoor grassy area and even had mosquito spray for us to use when it got dark out. The wait staff was accommodating and friendly and made us feel very welcome.... More

Made a last minute reservation (accommodated easily) for a wonderful evening. We arrived after the cruise ships left port, so the restaurant was nearly empty. The staff and especially our server, were incredible. They helped with our selections and the choices were amazing. Food preparation was timely, the presentation was very attractive, and the food itself was perfect. Not to... More

We just returned from our wedding in Cozumel. After reading reviews on TA we decided we wanted our dinner reception I be held at La Cocay and we are so glad we did! We had 20 people ages 3-73. We arrived at 8 pm, our tables were set up in the outside garden area and were beautiful. We did not... More

Big variety of food and it was fresh and hot. Breakfast eggs were runny but some of the Mexican breakfast items were very tasty. Never ate dinner there but lunch was also good with lots of variety

This restaurant is a few blocks off the main drag but worth the walk. The food was outstanding! We ordered the tapas mix and they were all great. We ordered the fish of the day with the cajun spices and the special steak & lobster for entrees. Both were delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant!
