While I have eaten at LaCocay many times over the year, I have never written a review. I thought it was time to do so. I recently dined there with local friends and, as always, the food and service was outstanding. We dined on the patio and it was a very nice evening. We started with a Tapas assornment since... more

Oh my gosh. Their creme brulee was absolutely to die for. I've never even cared for creme brulee much, but this was beyond good. Being proud foodies and residents of one of the best culinary cities in the world, New Orleans, we were eager to visit and experience the much touted La Cocay. La Cocay is nestled in a tranquil neighborhood, away from the overrated and overpriced restaurants that dot Cozumel. The open dining room with its adjoining meticulously landscaped patio/dining area immediately gives... more

La Cocay was just what we needed to escape the popular tourist fare of Cozumel! We had a great meal with tapas, salads, entrees, dessert, and drinks. We began with the tapas, you can pick 3, they have 2 peices for each one. Then we had the caesar salad which is tied together with strings of shaved beets. I had... more

We saved this place for our last night and it was great. Had the sashimi tuna and the salad (which we split since it was huge). Great service and quiet enough to talk. more
