Very good overall

I personally would have given this a 5. My wife is a hardcore, pregnant foodie and pushed for the 4 because the quality is not exceptional. Basically, this is very fairly priced solid food. Always seems busy. Love the mustard sauce with the nachos and the fajitas. Soups are good as well... read more

Great piña coladas but the service was slow and non-attentive. The food was okay, I've had better Mexican food here on the south side of Chicago (not really a surprise though). Limited menu choices and we were almost ignored by our server to be told gratuities had to be cash. Ha!

My husband reccomended this place as he'd been with friends and he had enjoyed it. I didn't really think it was that great. Overpriced in my opinion. The tortilla chips were not as nice Ive had elsewhere and instead of delicious fresh salsa they serve them with a yellow sauce. I ordered chicken mole. It was ok... My husband had... More

La Choza has been on list of can't miss restaurants overtime we visit Cozumel. The food is authentic Mayan style, the portions big, the margaritas are great and the service is top notch. The strolling musicians enhance the evenings fun.

Our server at Margaritaville reccomended this place to us. Very casual atmosphere. I was gonna say if you like fajitas you must try, but even if you normally dont do fajitas, these are like nothing you've ever had. Simply Amazing!!!!! I will return on my next trip without a doubt.

La Choza was disappointing. Their pics on TA showed a beautiful chili Relleno plate, however I was told that they no longer have it when I showed the pic to the server. He said many people ask for it but that they discontinued it. Too bad, I could just taste it from the pic as its my favorite Mexican dish!

After the amuse-geule I enjoyed myself strolling around to have a look at the artworks. I was seated at a stylish open wall with a lot of plants and green ilumination. My vegetarian fajita was excellent. It came along with guacamole and tortillas.

I have been coming here for 20 years, which was before the old place burned down (next door) and they rebuilt. They had me from the first bite, when I tried the kebabs. Now I go for lunch and dinner and always more than once each trip. More recently I've been ordering the fajitas, which one of the waiters told... More

We have come here on 3 separate cruises and always try and make lunch at La Choza. Gauc is killer, excellent margaritas and the FLANK STEAK is where it's at! Or the fajitas, or the Negro Chicken. You will not be disappointed here.
